Who was Alfred talking to in the Justice League trailer?
@staticspeedster: Well there was an age of heros so there had to be someone, even if it wasn't Jay. Maybe it is the Atom Smaher which is why you kinda hear the ground moving.
It is most likely Supes but how lame would that be?
We're not exactly sure about those bunch. They're probably Ancient Greek heroes. Check this thread out:
It wouldn't be, because it's expected. I mean Justice League without Superman? What the hell would he be doing if he wasn't part of the group?
@staticspeedster: Doesn't seem too likely cause all the greek gods died before Diana was even born. Also if Lanterns existed then they must have protected the Earth at some point.
MMH and GL were founding members but they don't seem to be part. Also the mystery person is expected and the mystery is supposed to help sell the movie which is lame. Lol.
Superman. But it would mean that Bruce knew about Superman being alive. I'll miss the surprised look on Bruce's face when Clark makes his epic return to combat Steppenwolf.

It could be true (about the lanters). It's funny though, you could see a reflection of something kinda bright on Alfred's glasses. Although there isn't any red in any Green Lantern costume.
When a little boy asked the panel where Superman is, Momoa replied, "I don't know if your parents showed you the last movie, but Superman's dead" to laughs.
Gadot was determined to be a little kinder to the boy.
"If you're a big fan of Superman, you're going to be very, very happy," she revealed.
@staticspeedster: Bright? Shazam's lightning is bright, lol. But it could be an effect added just for the trailer or for suspense.
No fan of Superman was very happy about the lame brooding hope Supes.

Damn. I would love that but I'm gonna try not to expect for it much.
Actually I don't think it's either Green Lantern or Superman that Alfred was talking too. Rather it's probably Supergirl.
Hear me out first. Although the only thing I can do here is speculate and I don't have a theory on how Supergirl fits into the whole picture but we've probably had subtle hints that it's her.
First thing y'all might have noticed a specific scene in the JL trailer where Bruce is staring at a hologram sort of thing, a red cape waving and we see a leg perhaps with designs and stuff. It doesn't seem to be superman at all. it's a bit girly. I'm pretty sure it's a hologram or stuff of Kara that Bruce was staring at. After Steppenwolf invades, Bruce probably goes into the Kryptonian scout ship to investigate about Kryptonians or learn about Stepenwolf or aliens. Maybe Kara is among the metahuamans tracked by Luthor or in Amanda Wallers files that Bruce Acquired Could be anything. Maybe there he encounters the hologram of Kara. If y'all remember, when the scout ship first appeared in MoS, as Clark was investigating the corpses of dead Kyrptonian explorers, one of the cryo pods was open indicating someone escaped. There was also a tie in comic released which is DCEU canon which confirms its Kara. She was among the explorers sent to earth in that scout ship. It has details on how she escaped.
Another fact is, right now in the DCEU superman is dead. We know that's he'll be back but in the DCEU superman is dead. He was buried. Now in the JL trailer Alfred says that Bruce told him, the person Alfred spoke to would come. Bruce couldn't have said that about Superman because for Bruce too, Superman is dead. The resurrection of Superman will come as a shock to the people in DCEU. Nobody would have the slightest idea. But there is a fair chance that Bruce eventually discovers Kara in his quest to find protectors against Steppenwolf's invasion.
The only true answer.

But fans of Superman are still hoping they'll get it right this time.
