Speaking of Travis Fimmel though, Alexander Ludwig could also pull off a good Oliver:

Charlie if they were going for a younger Oliver Queen. Brad if they were going for an older one.

@the_red_viper: Alexander is a good actor and I think he could definitely pull if off, but man.. Travis was out acting almost everyone in that show with his facial expressions alone.

I usually don't fan cast based solely on looks, but man, he looks just like how I would picture Oliver Queen looking in real life.

@the_red_viper: Would an older Green Arrow be that bad? I usually picture Oliver as veteran since he was already 43 in Longbow Hunters. He'd be part of the old guard alongside Batman, before this new generation of heroes came around.

My first choice would be Emily Bett Rickards but now that I think about it I would prefer GA to be kind of between Clark and Bruce's age but has been active for awhile. Rickards is too young to be my ideal GA in the DCEU.

@nickzambuto: I dunno I picture New 52 Arrow more but it wouldn't be THAT bad I guess. Waldau's accent can also be a hindrance though.

So you'd prefer a younger Oliver Queen compared to veteran Green Arrow who's part of the old guard and would be admired by the new superheroes? If he's already been around the block and is already acquainted with Batman, he'd have a lot more to contribute to a team.

@nickzambuto: Yeah. I think one of Oliver's most interesting aspects is the fact that he always has to prove himself because he's just a guy with a bow hanging around Superman and Flash and Wonder Woman and all those powerhouses. I would also be interested in seeing adaptations of his New 52 stuff because he has awesome stories.
