Who should be the next mcu cap?

I might get flak for this, but Bucky. He's been there for Steve since they were kids, he's a man out of time just as much as Steve, and it just seems like a much more fitting progression. Cap and Sam haven't known each other very long in the MCU and don't have the one-on-one, deep and conflicted history together that Cap and Bucky do.

Plus, Bucky already has super-soldier enhancements.

Yeah Bucky makes more sense since he basically about as strong as cap, not to mention Sam is good enough as the Falcon.

I don't think Sam has the strict discipline to lead. IMO, MCU Sam has cemented himself as the comedic sidekick, and nothing more.

BUT...since it seems they might be going that way...as much as I've never liked the WS character, and as much as Stan Sebastian (I think that's the actors last name) is flat and semi annoying to me, in universe it seems to make the most sense. I'd personally prefer Falcon be the new Captain America, but it doesn't make sense they way they have to MCU storyline set up.

Cap sacrificed nearly everything for Bucky, so it would only be fitting that he pick up Cap's mantle should Steve hang up his shield.

I really don't see anything pointing towards either replacing the current Cap. There was plenty of speculation that Steve would die in Civil War but now that we know he didn't I see no valid reason for why Feige would want to replace him. I think the job is Evans' for as long as he wants it and can physically pull off the role. If anything, cw only proved to further cement him in the role.

Bucky for sure he already knows how to utilize the shield in combat, and is Steve's closest friend and most capable for the job

Sam and I'm sticking with that answer.

Bucky is good as the winter soldier and Id prefer him better as the winter soldier. Not to mention Sam has a better understanding of modern America than both Cap and Bucky so If we are transitioning from old to new then It should be Sam

I think it will be Sebastian Stan for one very important reason. He is signed to appear in 9 marvel movies. Chris Evans only has one left on his contract.
