@tobymaguire: that’s cap because if the audience didn’t care about Superman, Batman v Superman wouldn’t have generate as much hype as it did. Superman done correctly has a larger potential than a lot of characters. We still haven’t seen characters like Brainiac, Darkseid & Eradicator on the big screen, WB have barely scratched the surface with this character on the big screen.
And Matt Reeves already confirmed that his film will be a part of the cinematic universe, it’ll just be a standalone like Shazam, Aquaman, MOS & Wonder Woman. The only upcoming live action DC film that’s not connected to that world is The Joker.
@tobymaguire: Justice League barely even marketed Superman. And the audience flat out didn't like the film, which plays apart because multiple viewings is important for big box office. And Superman being powerful is not an issue, with good storytelling you can solve anything. Dr. Manhattan is ridiculously OP yet Watchmen is still a masterpiece.
And again Superman isn’t as liked at his full potential because they’ve barely scratched the surface with the character and his world on the big screen.
@ready_4_madness: Watchmen is a masterpiece in the box office? You are such a Superman fanboy that its unreal.
Remove Superman from Justice League so that he can fart Blackholes or make his power level around the other league heavy hitters like in Justice League cartoon with heavy weakness to magic, not being anywhere near the speed of characters like Flash, Cheetah
@tobymaguire: who said Watchmen is a masterpiece in box office? Is English your first language? “And Superman being powerful is not an issue, with good storytelling you can solve anything. Dr. Manhattan is ridiculously OP yet Watchmen is still a masterpiece.” Try actually reading what I said this time, if you can’t comprehend it just move along.
Being politically correct, Wonder Woman. She's a great character regardless, but the amount of persons that whine and gain traction from the stupidest arguments would surely push her.
Realistically, Superman. Man of Steel to opened the universe and is to-date the best film they've released (fight me).

Because of what you said there Batsy, I'mma knock you out.
*Throws a jab, knocking you out unconscious. You wake up in the local hospital 12 years later wondering what just happened. Now you have amnesia and will never know what happened to you, or who did it to you.*
The lack of awareness of SOME Superman fans is cringey... Its like everything is static and nothing changed in the last seven years.
The entire movie medium is different now, and comic book movies evolved like no other genre... WB discontinued their DC shared universe, and currently the DC movies brand (Wdc) is not strong enough to reboot again this character, besides audiences seem to want new and fresh superheroes with new worldbuildings like Aquaman.
Even for Feige/Marvel Studios was not easy to reboot Spider-Man again, Sony's Venom was not even a good movie and felt like it was easy for Sony to sell it...
