Who's more fearless Batman or Daredevil
@algorhythm511: that's true but i felt like if someone asked what's batman's fears it would be hard to answer. Of course other people may feel different about this
Batman.
In the story line Knightfall near the end Scarecrow used fear gas on him. Instead of making him afraid he just got super angry.
In Arkham Asylum he resisted fear gas that would "make ten men go insane".
He fought Darksied 5 times.
He fended off Jin Szu (hyper clan member created to be unbeatable in H2H)
Ect.
Daredevil doesn't know that he should be afraid, because he can't see anything (not in the way normal humans see), and a lot of fear is triggered simply by what we see. So, in that way, I'd say DD is more fearless by default. He literally doesn't fear, because he doesn't see the fear.
Batman isn't fearless, he has simply learned to master his fears so that they don't inhibit him. But, to me, that is a lot more impressive.
Daredevil battles enemies of equal power and with far less tech and armor than o'l bats. Daredevil is by far more fearless.
Not to mention he's not afraid to kill when it's needed either.
Batman. To face eco terrorist like Ras Al Ghul, freak monsters like Killer Croc, gods like Darkseid. He even went to Hell once! Despero, Etrigan, Lobo, Superman, the Joker, Batman has faced them all!!
And he's got Tiger Blood and Adonis DNA! :)
Daredevil
Not much scares Batman. Overwhelming power, certain death, torture, abstract abominations. None of these things scare him. However, that doesn't mean that nothing scares him. We know that he actually has several fears, especially if we're talking the characters in general and not strictly the mainstream comic book continuities.
He's afraid of failing Gotham.
He's afraid that he isn't honoring his parents.
He's afraid that he'll lose control of his anger and take a human life.
He's afraid that the only person he can truly relate to in the world is the Joker.
He's afraid that he can't overpower Bane.
He's afraid that his allies in war will become casualties because of him.
He's afraid that he isn't making a difference.
He's afraid of bats.
Matt Murdock... isn't afraid of anything. He just isn't. I can't think of one true fear he has. We know Batman can feel fear because he hallucinates when exposed to fear toxin. But Daredevil is like Joker. The toxin just doesn't even do anything to him. He had a villain who looked exactly like Scarecrow that exposed him to a fear toxin once and he literally laughed.
Even ideas like failing Hell's Kitchen or his friends dying aren't actual fears. Matt certainly isn't immune to stress or despair, but he doesn't really ever feel actual fear. Even when he was taking care of a child who he was convinced was either the reincarnation of Jesus, or the reincarnation of the devil, and he didn't know which one, he never felt fear.

Murdock,barely
Daredevil = without fear
Batman = mastered his fear
@the_wspanialy: Daredevil has experienced fear since the day he went blind and lost his powers
- Because their so close in relative fearlessness the answer is almost subject and dependent on which character you personal like more.
- But trying to be objective about it...Id go with Matt, Because the way he rushes into dangerous situations without much of a plan is just crazy...Batman often does the same but he usually has a plan or some semblance of a plan(And its that constant use of proper planing (which sorta acts as a proverbial safety net) that kinda of puts him bellow Matt, becuase remember being brave/Fearless is often confused with being stupid and for good reason...To be truly fearless you gotta be a little stupid and slightly off the hinges...Both of which apply to Batman becuase a guy that dresses up like a giant Bat and fights insane and extremely dangerous criminals in dark alleys clearly has a few screws lose..But i honestly think Matt has even more screws lose.
- And to wrap up the comparison ill use to two examples of boths guys going way out of their depth...
- Daredevil: The guy in a attempt to calm Banner down went face to face with the Hulk..And actually tried to fight him..His plan worked after having his bones broken and being rendered hospitalized...Mind you he had no plan or backup if things went south.
- Batman: In the comic Superman/Batman Apocalpyse, Batman went up against Darkseid face to face with very little protection...And could have been instantly killed, but Bruce used his cunning and smarts to strike a bargain with Darkseid and turned dangerous the situation into his favor..And for all we know he could of had another contingency plan for if that one failed.
- And theres lies the big difference...Batman always has a backup plan and Daredevil is for the most part just winging it as he goes.
Daredevil.
Gonna have to go with Batman on this one. While Daredevil may have to go through life blind (no pun intended), most of Batman's enemies are the personification of different mental conditions, and he has overcome them all. Joker is insanity, Two face is duality, scarecrow is fear etc. Batman is the living embodiment of what it means to conquer your fears and be the master of your own mind.
@brucerogers: That was obviously a metaphor, should've used quotation mark lol
