Who of the main characters of HST has most developed Battle IQ?

It's toss up between Naruto and Luffy. Naruto has shown a bit more creativity when using his clones and transformation jutsu to get the advantage/wins over his opponents. While Luffy has shown to come up with amazing techniques/moves with a limited ability

Raw battle IQ and strategy goes to Naruto. Creativity and intuitive understating is Luffy every time, the Enel showing alone I haven’t seen the equivalent from in the other verses. Luffy understood the mechanics to an esoteric power he’d never seen before and developed a counter-measure instinctively.

Naruto ofc.Second place is Luffy.Ichigo is...Getsuga Tenshou spam.Hes mid in that aspect

Naruto is the best tactician while Luffy is the most creative, Ichigo unfortunately doesn't have too much going for him in terms of BIQ.

Naruto's alright, luffy's IQ is better tho. Luffy has much better instinctive responses and creates techniques on the fly to counter his opponents.

Naruto's best techniques are either inspired from others or he takes time to actually develop them.

Luffy also has a better ability to read techniques. He saw conqueror coating one time and automatically utilized it in a limited manner, did the same for Soru. That'd be like Naruto seeing the rasengan once and just picking it up, instead of actually learning like he did. It took him 2 years for Haki, which is kind of long, but it took Naruto like 8 years to get decent with chakra(granted he had a handicap, but still)

Luffy was picking up Future Sight, Soru (Gear 2), and Conqueror's Infusion just after seeing them a couple times.

He also has an incredible cunning mind being able to come up with counters against an opponent on the fly despite just seeing them attack. We see this with Enel and getting around his Mantra, Crocodile by getting around his logia via water/blood, using wax (Mr. 2) against wax, using wax against poison (magellan), figuring out the mechanics behind Katakuri's "invincibility," etc.

Luffy has the most natural battle IQ. That's like one area he is a super genius. Kinda like Goku. Anyone who has actually read or watched One Piece should how innovative he can get. Like over 100 named moves with Gum Gum. And he has learned how to implement Haki with his DF in creative ways.

Naruto is a series bases on strategy but I wouldn't say Naruto is one smarter ones like Shikamaru, Madara or Itachi. He has good moments like shown with Zabuza but right after that he goes directly into Haku's mirror trap. Naruto is mostly a brute force character who relies on Kurama. He certainly has moments though.

Ichigo is, ahhhhh.... Slashing through beams and stuff. And power ups.

Lel, I really feel sympathy for Ichigo tbh, but he's not really the Battle intuitive dude unfortunately. M

Naruto has a pretty high battle IQ, considering that he is an orphan Jinchuriki without normal upbringing and training, with large reserves of chakra and poor control, this did not prevent him from mastering tree walking on the same level as Sasuke, also in the exams he was able to effectively deceive Kiba at the same time using the Transformation Technique and Shadow Cloning despite the limitation of the Five Seals set by Orochimaru. After removing the Five Seals, Naruto quickly mastered walking on water. And in the battle with Neji tricked him with Shadow Clone, and he dug hole in the ground.

Using the feature of Shadow Clones, Naruto was able to quickly master the Manipulation of the Elements of Wind, and created Rasenshuriken, which even geniuses like Minato and Kakashi could not do, and in the battle with Kakuza was able to deceive him with Shadow Clone with Rasenshuriken, and himself hiding among the clones.

In a short time, Naruto mastered the Sage Mode perfectly, which Jiraiya could not do, and also learned how to throw Rasensuriken. And in the battle with Pain, Naruto allowed him absorbed lot of Senjutsu chakra, which turned him into a stone toad.

Naruto was also able to quickly defeat Dark Naruto (essentially himself) without using brute force because it was useless. He quickly learned how to use Fuinjutsu by opening the Kurama cage, and then closed it by making it even stronger.

Naruto was able to understand how 3 Raikage was wounded on the chest (due to his own attack) and redirected lightning attack against him.

Naruto was also able to understand that attack Senjutsu is effective against Juubi Obito.

Other already written about Luffy. I personally think that Naruto and Luffy show high intelligence in battle, although they like to fool around out of the fight.
