Ultron looked like a great menacing Villain. While he wasn't the teaser defiantly made me beleive that.

Thanos looks cool and all but he doesn't really look intimidating. Especially to someone who knows his comic self and the lack of a helmet.

Ultron looked and sounded more intimidating, even though by logic Thanos is scarier.

Ultron was handled to appear more intimidating, though he didn't really live up to it. Thanos so far, purely from advertising, doesn't look like what you'd imagine... but from the small series of scenes he's had in previous movies, we all know he's going to be the one to kick everyone's ass.

James Spader stomps. It's very unfortunate that Ultron didn't turn out to be even 10% intimidating compared to what it was in the trailers.

Most people might think Thanos based on what they know about him already. If I knew absolutely nothing about the comics, Ultron is more intimidating by miles, even though Thanos seems to be threatening more destruction.

Ultron was intimidating in a greater variety. Thanos... he is just there to smash. I would always go with a smart robot with free will than a smarter version of Hulk. No offense. Still sad that AOU was rather disappointment. Ultron had a great potential to raise a little MCU's supervillains low reputation. Still waiting for their first really good villain in the movies.

I thought ultron was pretty scary, of course when the film came out they took a dump on him, for some strange reason though, due to the way disney markets their films, the film somewhat grossed more than expected

Man, if only Ultron had been as intimidating as he was in the trailer, we´d be looking at one of the best live-action villains ever, sadly, he didn´t live up to his potential.

I still think he isn´t half as bad as many people in here think.

Ultron's "no strings on me" line is still the coolest bad guy line in the MCU

I'll give them one thing, they got very good voice actors for both characters.

@apex_pretador: Not sure if you are joking or not, it is not a masterpiece, but it´s still a very solid movie with lots of great moments.

Ultron was one of the most misadvertized and misdirecting aspects ever seen in the world of marketing. Oh, maybe Mandarin as well. I don't know how many times they can do that until it becomes a pattern.
