1) Batman - He's essentially what got me into comics. His character and those surrounding him are interesting and many of his stories are great.

Might as well rank the rest.

Well I would say Aquaman... but I would be lying.

Batman (Full ham Brave in the Bold) is the most fun.

I personally prefer Kyle over the other Green Lanterns but I just left it at "Green Lantern" for you to choose.

Superman, I think. It's just that I've always had great respect and love for the character and all it symbolizes.

Second would come Hal Jordan because of the Geoff Johns run which was amazing.

Then Batman. Not only is he an awesome iconic character with amazing runs and story arcs, he's the character that got me into comics in the first place.

He's the total package.

Anywho, to answer the question, it's Superman. He's a great guy, he's got an awesome universe built around himself, and I think he has some amazing stories and powers.

It used to be Superman only. But after The Dark Knight movie, Superman and Batman both are my favorite. Can't pick one over the other.

Wonder Woman's the best one.

Not going to lie, I'm slowly converting into a Wondy fan

Green Lantern Kyle Rayner because he is a badass among badasses in the Green Lantern Corp. He later would wield all the colors on the emotional spectrum, become White Lantern and Ion. That's amazing for a normal human to accomplish.

The Flash. I love his costume, his powers, his outlook on life and his Rogues.

Aquaman for me. I usually like everything conected to the seas. I also like the question "where do I belong?". And I love Mera (a lot!).

Being more honest, my favourite main member is Hawkgirl, but that's only for the old animated shows.

New 52 (since that's the lineup you picked): Flash. His powers are fun, his bad guys are fun, and he's a generally good guy, if a little dumb at times.

Other media: Smallville Superman. Love this guy. Keeps the optimism, hope and leadership of Superman while also being extremely relatable. He feels like a guy I could've grown up with in high school. He doesn't need an inciting event to help people. He does it because it's the right thing to do. And yeah, he screws up and shows his humanity. But despite considering himself human, he strives to be the best dang human he can be.

Why? He's the perfect embodiment of a superhero and a good, normal guy all wrapped in one.

Martian Manhunter. Basically everything that Superman personifies, but still detached from humanity. So much power and yet, most often, the ultimate pacifist. His new 52 version is even more aloof and curious about humanity, all while trying to do the right thing.

the flash, I really like how he life hacks his powers and emulates super strength (attack wise) and durability.

The only thing i dislike about him is his powers are 100% dependent on the speed force, and if it's having a good or bad day. You go too fast? Welcome to speed force. you run too fast? your body will lose it's wait and you will start to float into space, unless you understand the speed force and know what frequency to vibrate at. Well your time is up im calling you back to the speed force now in a very painful manner.
