Who is the poster child for teambusters?

Has Thanos ever busted any big teams? I'd say Tyrant.

I'd go with Tyrant too honestly, he has the most clean/best feats of proper team busting. Thanos really doesn't even when he fought the Annhiliators he kinda busted half the time himself while Warlock took out Surfer and Quasar also Thanos kinda relied on divide and conquer as he BFR'd Gladiator then beat BRB in a 1v1 and then Rhonan after that. Tyrant actually took on all of the Annhiliators on at the same time.

Thanos has busted the Avengers a couple of times fairly easily.

I mean he has but not that casually honestly, he also didn't beat the whole team himself...

So have plenty of other characters... Hell regular Hulk has as well, that's because 90% of the time the entire weight of the Avengers is carried singlehandedly by Thor with the closest others to him being Tony and Carol who are obviously not on his level and then you have a bunch of street tiers like Widow, Cap, Panther, etc.. So really busting the Avengers isn't that impressive, i think Surfer put it the best

Thanos is the all rounder that comes up when you consider what a teambuster is.

Tyrant has the most actual examples of doing it: Graviton might beat him in that regard, considering he's busted god knows how many teams at this point.

AMAZO has the power set that naturally benefits one.

He's one but apart from him defeating the JLA in New York, I can't really recall him properly teambusting.

Nobody mentioned Darkseid?

Darkseid needs to beat Sups properly first before he can even think about being here.

I didn't say anything about Thanos being the only guy to bust the Avengers. I simply answered someone who asked if he had busted any teams. I mean you brought up Surfer who Thanos has made into his personal whipping boy on multiple occasions. He actually takes pleasure in beating Surfer senseless with almost no effort.

No one's upset bro so calm yourself down. The problem is when you are trying to point out something under the impression that the other person doesn't already understand the point you are trying to make. It's just annoying more than anything else. It doesn't mean I'm mad because none of this is important enough to me to be mad about it. Just take some responsibility for what you write and don't act like a victim just because I replied to it. All I did was point out what Thanos has done as relating to team busting. Obviously we could also go into fights he's had with beings considered to be far more powerful than those teams(such as Galactus, Odin, Tyrant and many others) if we want to make this into a respect thread but that's already been done. The Avengers don't always tend to be just Thor either. It really depends a lot on the iteration of the team. Often they have at least two heavy hitters.

Anyone can be team buster, it just depends who makes up the team. Thanos is not truly team buster since he never single handedly busted team made up of all powerhouses and as someone pointed he divided and conquered the annahilators.

The only true teambusters I have ever seen is Tyrant and Emoboy Prime. They both took on team full of powerhouses and won with no problems specially Tyrant who took the annahilators and Thanos back to back.

Not exactly true. You can be a teambuster on paper due to power and stats: if you dominate high tiers or heralds you realistically could be a teambuster depending on your showings.

thats why I said anyone can be one, it all depends on the team but Thanos never busted team full of high tiers or heralds ( Don't know the difference between them in terms of comic Vine rule) Thanos had help with the annahilators and the annahilators are the best team in terms of powerhouses in Marvel and DC. Thanos will dominate superman, Thor and hulk together but he never did what Tyrant did. He is teambuster depending on who make up the team.

For me when I hear teambuster the 3 characters that come to mind

• Thanos
• Ultron
• Magus

Magus busting the Guardians is probably my favorite instance of anyone beating a team, even if it's not necessarily a teambusting feat in terms of beating the characters(though how he does it arguably contains some teambuster level feats). Thanos hasn't done much teambusting himself, but Ultron destroys the Avengers all the time, and has the most teambusting out of the 3.
