Superman,Batman and Wonder Woman will always be the most popular and most well known.Heck the Justice League founding members are the most popular superheroes.

Spider-man is easily the most popular followed by Batman and Ironman who are about tied. Than surprisingly enough I'd say Cap at the moment.

Lmfao!! You guys confuse well know with popular. Superman is well known but not popular. At the rate Superman is going if he was considered one of the most popular comics in general would be in trouble cuz Supes is a damaged franchise. How many years has it been since he's had video game, cartoon etc... All of his movies this gen has crashed and burned. SR is only second to the GL for biggest cbm flop of all time with 140mil- after ticket sales. MoS had the biggest budget ever for a WB movie, if not films in general but underperformed critically and financially. That's why it only profited 40mil according to Deadline and Vatiety even tho it grossed 668mil. Superman has been nothing but a bust this gen. Thats why GOTG, Antman and Cap to name a few all got sequels before MoS even tho they came out after. Believe me WB likes money. Supes sequel is limbo because WB is not confident in him as a franchise.
And with comics during regular months, before the Rebirth gimmick the top 60 best sellers each month are always Marvel and Batman related titles. Superman would normally show up around #60.
Superman doesn't even deserve to be in my top 10. That was charity.
