What exactly do you mean by popular? Who more people like? Who more people just know who they are? Also, are you referring to among just comic fans or the general public at large? You need to be a little more specific.

Hulk. He's been featured in the media more frequently with his old show with Lou Ferrigno and stuff like that and j had Hulk Hands toys when I was a kid, not Mjolnir. Hulk hasn't had a movie in seven years though

Thor a whole civilisation worshipped him and has been around for over 1000s years hulk can't match up

Thor in the sense of him being a Morse god. But comic versions is where Hulk shines,I could say "You won't like me when I'm angry" and everyone will know what I'm taking about.
