who can repair the damage that has been done to Mighty Thor
We need some serious PR beyonder level retcons here. We need to wipe it all out, it was a really, really bad dream - she was never like that, at all. The odinforce, hammer, heck, even rivals/enemies of Asgard don't quite work that way at all. This is all just a terrible misunderstanding.
Never to be spoken of again :)
@mimisalome: ^^ I genuinely laughed hard reading this. ???
Female Odin
Lmao, Odin Force Freiya
It seems like comicvine had extreme dislike for Jane Thor. Every other websites had posted news reporting positively of the grand finale for Jane Foster and commentators on the discussion pages elsewhere are saying that they will miss her.
What is wrong with comicvine? Trying too hard to be edgy?
Female Odin
Written by a strong independant woman

My god can do it, but he demands sacrifices.
Bendis > Your God, I'm afraid.
@godsaveusall: You are clearly trolling but no one here is saying the problem is Jane Thor. That is the least problematic thing at this point, you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what is actually going on here.
MCU strange
if i could pick a writer on marvel, id pick hickman or bring JMS back
and a major crossover that will lead to another reboot

@thebestofthebest: Lolol.
Out of curiosity what did Aarons do that was so bad it would cause permanent damage to Thor's character? I ask because most complaints are regarding Odin being incompetent or Jane Foster being a mary sue, from what I've seen. None of that is going to be permanent. I heard about some retcon regarding Mjolnir but what was it exactly?
@jashro44: From what I hear, they changed Thor's personality and the personality of his side characters (they even acknowledged this when they made War Thor a 180 of the original character), messed with piwer levels (just look at Jane, Mangog, Odin), destroyed Mjolnir via the sun recently even though Mjolnir has gone through stars with no problem before, etc. etc,
Basically they took everything that was established and ignored it, choosing to instead sort of create comics that was merely inspired by the old Thor comics, instead of a sequal to them.
@king_hellstorm: I don't see any permanent consequences to any of that. Its stupid and its not good but every writer has there own take. Its a bad run but people are exaggerating the impact it will have on Thor's history.
@jashro44: In comics, everything can be fixed. But it will definitely leave a mark on the fanbase, a bad one. The whole run was just a compilation of bad ideas, so it can't be fixed naturally, someone has to set out to fix te problems. Which is a problem in of its self aince we don't know if anyone will.
That's not even the best part, he even fails to properly explain the garbage of the inconsistency he wrote, - muh.....it's the SUN !!! - that's what he says, lol.
I hate explaining something from a story. I'd rather let the story do that. That's what it's for. But I keep getting these questions. Yes, we've seen Thor & Mjolnir go into the sun before & survive. That doesn't mean it's a comfy place to hang out. IT'S THE SUN!

Lol. cant say no more to that joke of a writer
That has to be up there for the stupidest explanation ever given by a comic writer.
Absolutely.
The fact that he can't acknowledge the inconsistency is hillarious, the guy literally slaughtered Thor's verse, - that would take some Hous of M/Secret Wars level warping to fix.
I was excited for the thor #1, but im not anymore.
Is aaron's run on the new thor book indefinite? Or is someone else going to take over?
he is still writing it.
but hope he'll step down
Yea, i doubt any fix will be happening any time soon.
If they wanted to fix this in a single arc though, there is a way. Just make a story explaining that after the last Ragnarok when the Asgardian's returned they were corrupted and slowly began changing, or that when Cul was freed from his prison it corrupted the rest of the Asgardians (Cul is from a previous Ragnarok); then have some epic story where Thor and co. have to repair Yggdrasil and return themselves back to normal.
Could be great story arc, but we know something like that ain't happening on Aaron's watch.
@lord_spectrum: how can he say this after writing mjolnir to instantly pop after entering the sun
Yea, my hope is dead.
Wanna drown your sorrows in memes?

There is no hope for Thor under Aaron, we all knew that from the start, i was saying this for 6 months to say the least, though people still did have hope, while i didn't, yeah i am not the optimistic type.
Eh....better memes, than pure uncontrollable rage.

Eh...garbage writing, nothing new to see here.
Cates is slowing repairing the damage done by Aaron in Doctor Strange, in fact, Zelma being Strange's potential love interest was pretty much reconnected with the guy even giving us some hope of maybe seeing Clea and Stephen together again in the future(I'm also sure that Cates is being held down by the editorial staff or would've made many more things different) Sure, I won't say that Strange's comics were butchered in the same level as Thor's, but I do think Cates could fix up a few things.
Nate Grey(X-man) can save Jane. He once cured someone with cancer psionically.
he did?
Make Loki somehow reality warp/reboot Asgard.
This acct. sounds plausible...
@lord_spectrum: yea unfortunately.
