Which would you rather be chosen by; Mjolnir, Green Lantern Ring, the wizard Shazam, or Galactus?

Be chosen by Mjolnir and become a norse thunder god, or maybe by a GL ring and be a space cop that glows. Or maybe touch the staff and say the name of the wizard Shazam and become his protector of the Earth from magical threats. Or you could accept the burden from Galactus and become a herald who basically sics a space god onto innocent planets' populations to feast on. Which would you rather be chosen by?

Maybe the ring or Mjolnir? I wouldn't have many responsibilities, expectations or a being that watches over me and could just take my power away from me if I do something they don't like.

Shazam. Takes the least amount of mastery, plus shouting “Shazam” would be so much fun. A GL ring requires far too much to be used properly, let alone at a high level, and being a herald of Galactus is depressing and lonely. Having Mjolnir and possessing the power of Thor is cool, but needing Mjolnir to fly is lame. Being Shazam more or less gives you the same physical strength as well as extreme superspeed, greater wisdom, magic, invulnerability, flight, and more.

Not Galactus. Even though that one would give you the most power, it also basically makes you a slave to Galactus.

Herald, bruh people say you stuck to Galactus, that's like a 2 year max gig

Green Lantern ring. Who wouldn't want to be able to create pretty much anything you could imagine?

With mjolnir you need to be worthy of the hammer. The OP says you have to be a space cop as a lantern.

@jashro44: Maybe Shazam is the most useful one then. Just protect earth, not as much traveling or rules like a GL. Not a servant like a Herald. No worthiness check like Mjolnir.

That's what I was thinking but I don't know if there are any rules for being Shazam.

Herald of its Surfer lvl at least. Being able see the universe in all of beauty and horror would be the most amazing experience one could have.

Green Lantern ring. I would imagine I’d just patrol a sector near Earth.

GL ring, I think being a space cop would honestly be cool. If not that then Mjolnir.

GL ring no contest! The others would be cool but I feel like I need the extra accountability that comes with the GL corps. Even if I had to be worthy and the earths protector from magical threats I think theres still too much wiggle room and I’d take advantage.

The herald thing would be too much and I really wouldn't be myself anymore.

Herald. Shazam is good but there might be rules and limitations. Also Earth has an expiration date so...

Galactus. You get the most powers, you become a god basically (to be fair tho, you do that with Mjolnir and Shazam too). Tho you could basically become the Silver Surfer, and get away from being Galactus Herald because he already have too many of them.

Also, I can travel the spacewaves looking for life.

Being a cop is not very fun, the ring requires mastery.

Shazam is good but leaves you vulnerable in human form, also you basically become someone else when you are a hero which raises questions about identity, especially the wisdom of solomon part. (this could actually be a good disguise)

Galactus is the worst, even if (and I hope this is the case for all) you find uninhabited planets, it probably gets boring reeally fast, even if it is just a couple years. Hanging out with a giant purple man that eats planets and no one else in the black vacuum of space, would be bored out of my mind. The thing he says most is “I’M HUNGRY, FIND ME FOOD!”.

The best is being born on one of DC's other planets, which usually gives one enough power to move said planet. Just like that. Because alien.

I don't want to become a slave to galactus so no herald.

Although GL ring doesn't have any limits and is REALLY powerful a GL is essentially a cop who doesn't get paid and I can't abuse its power.

Shazam get to be low key and transform in an instant, if i don't want to carry around a big hammer i have to hold my hand up and wait for it

The others come with too much responsibility

While being a herald of Galactus is cool, I don’t like the idea of having to find inhabited planets for him to consume, so the next most useful power is a Green Lantern ring.

Why some assume Herald gives the most power when GL rings have higher potential ?

GL ring for me

Why would anyone willingly want to become a herald? You literally have to sell your soul just to be someone pet.

I'm going with Shazam seem to grant the most autonomy, look how much shit Black Adam gets away with.

Green Lantern ring. More interesting power, and while I'd have responsibilities it would honestly be nice to know that I am doing something for the greater good of the galaxy. I can't see myself feeling shackled down by a job of protecting lives.

Plus I'd get to meet all the hot alien babes in the Lantern Corps.

Being Shazam would give you a pretty amazing set of powers without giving you any of the burden of the other choices.

Galactus. The rest will he dead in 70 years, I’ll live on for eternity. I will also be able to sway him away from Earth. What good is your GL ring when Galactus eats half your sector?

Plus I could probably whip any of you that picked the other options.

Galactus for the most power.

The one that sucks the least sounds like Mjolnir.

You're either a space cop that has more chances of dying than living to see another day, a slave to some world-hungry space lord and carry the weight of your planet on your back or have fight in a continuous beef that had nothing to do with you with the other options.

Shazam duh, I’d pick it over both the GL ring and being a Herald of Galactus since both give me a lot of responsibilities, and powers I can’t abuse. I choose it over mijolnir simply because I don’t wanna face Odin when I have it.
