Both new 52. Action Comics or Green Lantern?
Which title should I pick?
Hmm... well, I can tell you that Green Lantern is good already and you can start reading it now (starting from #21).
Action Comics, on the other hand, had an excellent 18 (19) issue run, then it got that half-baked arc sort-of-by-Andy Diggle-but-mostly-by-Tony Daniel, and then it got sh!tty when Scott Lobdell started his filler arc. Greg Pak is slated to start writing AC in November but since that's months away I can't tell you if waiting for him is gonna be worth it (although based on Batman/Superman so far, I'd say yes).
@squalleon: Yeah I was kinda leaning the same way. I jut bought issue 1 of GL and love it and I read the first 8 issues of action comics and was like "huh" at the end of issue 8
sorry i was thinking that you want to start from he current issues.AC had some pretty great stories at the hands of Morrison.
AC 1-8 is the origin of superman in the new 52 and it is great.
AC 0 is a great single issue.
AC 9-18 have some great stories (13,9,14) and some weired ones.....after that everything is bad.
GREEN LANTERN! You can star reading as of #21 with a fresh start or go to New 52 GL #1 which is a totally accesible jumping point YET reads like a dream if you read the previous GL issues by Geoff Johns (Blackest Night, Siniestro Corps War, etc)
Action might get better when Greg Pak starts his run.
I would say Green Lantern. Mainly because Robert Venditti has mad talent, and because Action Comics has been notoriously bad.
