I don't know which one to choose but it's definitely not Batman. The moment you criticize that little shit, his entire fanbase makes it their life goal to convince you that you're wrong for disliking Batman as if the little bastards would get something out of it

Overall. If you weren't aware of superheroes, based on the fandom due to the size, maturity, authenticity, knowledgeability, joyfulness, etc.

Which would encourage you to want to check out a character to bond with them?

This. Superman is also up there as having one of the worst fanbases, as is Thor.

Batman, Spiderman, Deadpool, Flash and Storm have some of the worst (With Storm and Spideys being particularly bad)

From my experience, at least of the most popular characters, I was thinking Spider-man, but I can't recall any negative experience with Hulk fandom. It's just that Spider-man fans were really knowledgeable and more down to earth.

I'm not too sure about Superman. Most of the time, his fanbase is pretty understanding and acknowledges that Superman's stories, or the point of his character which is standing for hope, can be very unrealistic. But, and that's a massive but, that's only for Supes' most well known incarnations. When it comes to those Snyder Cult Morons, yeah, those assholes are so goddamn toxic. I think it's them that gives Superman's fanbase a bad name because they glorify Cavill's Superman as the absolute best and they think every Superman that isn't Cavill's, or everything about DC that isn't from Snyder, is absolute garbage

Spider-Man, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Nightwing are up there in my experience.

Worst fanbases go to Superman, Batman (and this is coming from a Batman fan), Deadpool, Wolverine, Punisher, Hulk.

I voted Spider-man due to larger size but The Flash, at least Wally, has been good. Why Wonder Woman and Nightwing? It's nice to see them.

I could see all those, especially Superman (it came across like a religious worship so his is my nomination for worst from my experience), Batman, and Deadpool. But what's been your experience with Hulk fans?

@infinitehope: Hulk fans are pretty similar to Wolverine and Punisher fans in my experience, usually pretty aggressive and edgy teenagers.

@krisbishop: Somehow every Hulk fan I met was chill, they aren't much better than other fanbase but I'd prefer them to Thor fans, who are obsessed with making Thor victor in every matchup and wanking him to heavens.

Talking about comic versions

Simple, because it's impossible to debate with most of their fans, they wank without even reading most of the comics, they have norms they can't pass (Like Superman has no limits, Batman is unbeatable in H2H because he knows 80 martial arts, Flash is untaggable monster who can phase kill everything in fiction). They aren't open to debate neither, they tend to lowball others more
