Question is in the title. Personally I preferred the choreography in Naruto but I was just wondering what everyone else thought.
@xyzen: Original DB had much better fight scenes than later on. Goku Vs Krillin was pretty memorable. In Naruto, characters have diverse juts arsenals, so we don't frequently see those dope taijutsu scenes. DBZ for the longest time was strictly h2h with generic KO blasts mixed in, which gave more room for good physical fight scenes.Around war arc in Naruto, everything became about flashy explosions and alot less about decent h2h choreography. I think we can agree that after part 1 Naruto and original DB, the quality of fight scenes went down on average.
This is just opinion, but the decent h2h scenes in DBZ are better on average because Naruto has less quantity of decent taijutsu scenes, but the best fight scenes in Naruto(Duo Vs Momo, Naruto Vs Sauce, Rock Lee Vs Gaara, etc) are better than the best DBZ fight scenes.
Dragonball was better when it was classic dragonball or early z as in the non canon movies that take place before the Saipan invasion. Now a days save for a few it's just reusing the same animation and very few different fighting styles.
One of the highlights from the broly movie was seeing Vegeta actually fight different t and use his height to his advantage in his style.
But Naruto even from the start has always had at least decent h2h and when they do an important fight like Naruto vs Sasuke or Kakashi vs Ohio it blows db out the water imo
Dragon Ball is better and has a wider diversity of animation choreography, from its multiple series produced in many different generations + massive number of movies over many generations. The style of the series evolves.
You've never watched Naruto :/
