Poll: Which one of these MCU attacks is stronger? (46 votes)

Vision/Thor/Tony combined attack on Ultron (AoU) 85%
Tony's repulsors amped by Thor's lighting (Endgame) 13%
results 2%

Which of these two MCU energy attacks is stronger - the one Vision, Thor & Tony used against Vibranium Ultron or Tony & Thor's combo attack against Thanos in EG?

Attack 1 melted vibranium. Attack 2 is featless.

@gateofbabylon: It isn't that much featless. With two repulsor beams Rescue could easily damage Leviathan (roughly comparable to what Thor's lighting in Avengers 1, maybe slightly weaker) - Iron Man should be logically comparable (or better) than that. And in this combo attack Iron Man had 8 repulsor blasts. If anything, it's a feat for Thanos' sword IMO.

Right, I forgot about that. I guess that makes it much closer but I'd still back Vibranium due to being more quantifiable. But I agree it's a good feat for Thanos' sword.

@nn5: Rescue’s repulsors work differently. They’re skinnier which is better for cutting and they have explosive properties.

@hermes1220: Iron Man's repulsors also made small ships explode in the scene when he fights alongside Rescue if you're if that's why you say Rescue's are explosive.

Plus logically Tony's armor should be as good or better. It just doesn't have Leviathan feat.

@nn5: I’m saying that based on her repulsors creating fireballs when she hit the leviathan.

Her armor seemed more advanced tbh.

Spaceships in movies are kind of stupid tbh.

@hermes1220: Iron Man never hit Leviathan IIRC, and effects of their attacks on smaller ships were pretty much the same.

Plus they were quite clearly presented as equals in the scene when they fight together.

I don't think it's really logical if Tony's suit was worse (or intended, or backed up by feats). But that's just IMO.

2. Thor’s lightning became more powerful after Ragnarok, and so did Tony’s suit. I’m pretty sure Vision’s blast is featless.

This is actually a good question. I remember thinking it was too OP that Thanos could walk through the lightning amped repulsors.

@eri123: I think that's doesn't necessairly mean it's superior. Post-Ragnarok Thor's lighting > pre-Ragnarok Thor's lighting, EG IM repulsors >>> earlier IM repulsors. Only difference can be made by Vision's Mind Gem blast but it was no-sold by Corvus' glaive (likely the same metal as Thanos' sword). I know it can be argued that Vision was weakened but still the blast did nothing to glaive. I think that vibranium has lower melting temperature than the metal sword/glaive is made off. Not sure which of these is superior, just saying it's not one-sided IMO.

Attack 1 was melting Prime Ultron, and ironically probably would've killed him if Hulk didn't decide to help Ultron by punching him out of the way. Attack 2 was blocked and shrugged off by Thanos.
