Which movie will most likely be 2019's second highest grossing movie?

It's hard to say theres like 4 or 5 heavy hitters.

Toy story and spiderman should be able to be able to cross a billion and star wars/lion king should make at least 800 million as well. Godzilla also has the chance to do crazy numbers if it gets good word of mouth

I would bet Lion King but Toy Story 4 and Frozen are also great contenders. Either way its another Disney movie...

My first thought was the Lion King, but I went with Frozen 2 instead. The original made $1.2 billion dollars, and the trailer leads me to believe the sequel will be fresher and have more mature plot points. I don't feel there is any fatigue among its fan base yet as there is with Star Wars and Toy Story. I worry that the tepid reception to live-action Dumbo and the potential for disappointment in the new Aladdin will further sour the audience for Disney's animation to live-action adaptations.

I think a lot of people are underestimating the fact that Frozen made as much as the Last Jedi. Except it has momentum into the next one that SW doesnt

Agreed. At the moment I'm slightly leaning towards Lion King, but I could just as easily see Rise of Skywalker taking it.

Not sure, I want to say Star Wars but TLJ will likely impact it at least somewhat. I feel like Spider-Man will benefit a lot from Endgame's success, so it's between it and Lion King for me.

I think one big advantage that Rise of Skywalker has going for it is JJ Abrams; more specifically, his marketing skills. Say what you want about the guy, but damn can he make a trailer.
