Which movie is better? Aquaman or Black Panther?

This will take more time and multiple viewings to judge

What does Aquaman beat BP in besides fight scenes ? It isnt the story and most definitely isnt the characters

BP is better, there no way to get around that. I did find BP to be kinda boring, but i can be objective and say that it is the better movie. Same way that TDK is better than IW. One is flashier than the other but worse as a movie.

Ooof, probably Black Panther. I don't think either are great. Aquaman was the bigger spectacle and did the "Advance Civilization" better visually.

Designs wise. Atlantis looked beautiful.

BP is far far away from deserving real Oscar nominations (imo), but it still significantly better than Aquaman.

I'd say Black Panther.

It has a better story and the main character is great too. I like Orm better as a villain tho.

And I do feel they establish Wakanda better. I feel they somewhat rushed over Atlantis' world building.

Aquaman had a better main character and the underwater scenes looked more real than the black panther movie as a whole only thing black panther had was a good villain

I find Black Panther totally boring as a character, while Aquaman is one of my favorite heroes

And even I have to admit that Black Panther's movie was better

Black Panther was 10× better and it didn't feel like a massive drag, I started nodding off towards the end of fishman. Underwater scenes suck, final battle was insanely stupid and cluttered just lasers and fish flying around in every direction and aquaman's brother was stupidly weak from what I could see he had powers in the comics so I was underwhelmed when I see not a single lightning bolt be fired, of all the dc trash the most recent couldn't manage to top the oldest and most boring in terms of climax action.

I had fun at Aquaman, but let's be real, Black Panther was the better film.

Black Panther was a better movie for sure.

No question in my mind, Black Panther. Aquaman was a lot of fun despite its numerous flaws, but Black Panther was the better movie.

BP by a long shot. Also, Wakanda would stomp Atlantis.

BP easily. Aquaman is visually awesome with great action and that is it. Everything else about the movie is okay or mediocre. BP might not look good, and only one good action scene, but the other aspect of the movie was great.

Atlantis would drown Wakanda.

Aquaman for me. Black Panther and Aquaman both had pretty standard plots and villains that while sympathetic were still clearly bad people. Where Aquaman pulls ahead is the sheer visual spectacle. Not just of the stellar fight scenes but the breathtaking beauty of Atlantis and its people, as well as the other kingdoms. Wakanda was alright but there wasn't anything that really made it distinct from every other technological super city I've seen. Their vehicles and tech was also pretty par for the course. Atlantis stands out as distinct and beautiful with a lot of creative vehicle and creature designs.

I think Black Panther is kind of overrated, but it still is objectively a better movie.

Black Panther had overall better character development, dialogue, and score. Aquaman had better visual effects, set pieces and overall world building. For me its a matter of flipping a coin. I found Aquaman more enjoyable, but Black Panther more structured from a storytelling standpoint.

I enjoyed Aquaman more.

After Civil War, Black Panther was a letdown in his film while Aquaman was a huge improvement from how he was in Justice League.

Black Panther is still one of the worst MCU movies. Aquaman was horrendous and missed the mark on Arthur's character and story, but at least it impressed me more visually.

Killmonger is better written than anything in crap Aquaman film, so he wins it for me. Aquaman is just a stupid mguffin hunt with crappy jokes and forgettable characters
