From 2008 to now, which MCU performances deserve the Academy award?

The only one that I'd argue might have deserved a nomination was Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger. None of the others even come close.

Disney is patethic for campaigning Ruffalo, Brie Larson, Renner , Hemswort and Brolin for Oscar nominations. None of this performances were that good, Brolin character and CGI was patethic and a trash villain to nominate it.

None lol. When will people realize that mediocre popcorn flick movies don't usually have astounding or awe-striking acting performances because they don't need to? They're supposed to just keep you entertained long enough to make you think it was a great movie and then go on about your merry day.

The MCU isn't excluded from that statement and probably never will be.

None. The actors all range from decent to great, but the work doesn't allow for Oscar level performances, just good enough to connect with Marvel fans. And for what it's worth, they do that perfectly fine.

Few of them are very good but probably not Oscar-worthy. But after weird nominations for movies like Mad Max or Black Panther it wouldn't be a bigger shame for Oscars to give some to e.g. IW or Endgame. Same about nomination for RDJ.

None of them. MCU's best performing actors aren't even from the movies.

If we’re including the Netflixverse too, I can think of plenty. Besides that, none I can think of.

None, If Marvel wants an oscar for best acting, they need to make an Oscar bait movie like Joker and script that allows for consistent Oscar level acting from actors. They have academy winners and nominees, use them instead of wasting them in one dimensional roles.

Only RDJ had a shot with his Iron Man 1 performance which I think is underrated. RDJ also ends up doing great work when the script and direction (like when he returns to earth in Endgame and rants on Rogers before fainting) allows him to but after Iron Man 1 he didn't get many chances. His good bits weren't Oscar worthy either.

The only one I can think of coming close to a nomination (even though they were all fairly good performances) is Ruffalo as Banner in Avengers 1, before they made him a comedic character. His monologue in the helicarrier was excellent.
