just curious here. my two least favourite characters in comics are falcon (616 version only) and Wolverine if he is featured in any book other than his own , and x book, or a team up book. what about you?
which marvel/dc character do you dislike most?
@spinningbirdcake: you have just activated a s***storm. i respect your hatred, but no one else will :P
Marvel, Logan is oversaturated, but if there's a villain I HATE, it's gotto be Carnage from back in the Maximum Carnage days. Man that guy was a Grade A PSYCHO.
DC, it's gotto be Lex Luthor and the Riddler. Extremely annoying mofos.
But if there's one guy I hate even more, it's G.I.Joe's ( formerly Marvel, now IDW ) Zartan. That guy is a mega-douche.
I'd have to say Charles Xavier for Marvel. I think its mostly due to the fact that he doesn't seem to live up to Sir Patrick Stewart's interpretation. The whole thing with Danger in Whedon's run seemed super uncharacteristic for a man who is supposed to champion equality and basic sentient rights.
For DC I would go with Starfire. I just loved her in the Teen Titans TV show , you can imagine my surprise when I checked out Red Hood in the new 52 and realized that awesome character doesn't exist in modern continuity.
I wouldn't say there's a character that I HATE - that when they appear in a story I think "Oh god, I won't be able to enjoy it now". But, someone who I can't really get behind all the "love" for (/don't understand it). Is Ted Kord (Blue Beetle). Nothing wrong with him, but it seems a ton of people LOVE him, and I just don't get it. He's got a good buddy-comedy thing going with Booster Gold, but as a hero I don't see a ton of appeal.
