I couldn't find the full video of Murray interviewing Arthur for obvious reasons, but it's from the beginning of the interview all the way to when Joker kills him.

Which Joker scene is better?

TDK scene, hands down. Batman + Joker's conflicting morals and dynamics makes it one of the best scenes of modern cinema.

Oooh snap. This is damn close, and feel like if I was asked this on any given day/week/month I’d flip flop my answer, but for right now I’m leaning towards TDK GCPD integ scene. Pretty much for the reason GateOfBabylon gave, there’s just this extra intangible factor of watching Batman and Joker come face-to-face, and riff-off of one another that’s soooo satisfying. But watching Phoenix REALLY go in during that Murray interview was a thing of beauty

@skywalker95:

The interrogation scene in The Dark Knight is better lol. I'm pretty sure the Murray scene is only winning because of recency bias. "You get what you f-ing deserve" is still fresh in our minds, so it's easy to think that scene and dialogue is more impressive at this point in time, as opposed to the 11-year-old interrogation scene which we've all replayed in our heads ad nauseam. But the interrogation scene in The Dark Knight is superior to the Murray scene in terms of effectively conveying the themes of the movie, more original and inventive in terms of dialogue, and the tension between Joker and Batman is still a lot more palpable than the tension between Joker and Murray.

Don't get me wrong. The Murray scene is fantastic, but the interrogation scene in The Dark Knight is one of the greatest scenes in cinema history: absolute perfection from beginning to end. I bet if you do this exact same poll a few months from now: The Dark Knight scene will win.

Joker and Murray

The only scene that really stood out to me in TDK was the dinner scene with Bruce and Harvey.

Personally I think the Joker and Murray scene was better for a couple reasons. First, it was essentially the climax of the whole movie, the score and tension were building and it was all leading up to *that* moment. Second, the actors were superb, the setting was great, and it was oddly satisfying to see joker finally embrace his persona

The recency bias is crazy right now for Joker in all aspects. Y’all need to calm down. There’s a reason people still talk about a scene that’s 12 years old. Let’s see if this new Joker holds u

The Murray interview definitely left a mark on my brain, defo made an impression on me but it didn't move me the same way as the interrogation scene did.
