Which is worse? Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 or Suicide Squad?

I thought people liked GOTG2? I did at least, I thought most of the characters had really good, complete arcs and most of the humor worked well too. I just go wanted a fun movie and I got that, plus some great character moments, especially Yondu

SS was shit.

SS was worse. I liked Gotg2 a lot. I think people are quick to hate if they don't believe a sequel is as good as the first.

At least SS has a couple characters I liked.

I don't know how it came about that Guardians 2 is "the worst movie from the MCU" since most people polled seemed to actually like it.

Suicide Squad was a crappy movie with some good characters portrayed by some good actors. I enjoyed my time with both, but SS was the lesser of the two, unquestionably.

I laughed a few times in SS and like some of the characters. I can't think of one thing I liked about GOTG2.

SS was worse because it wasted so much time just getting started and then didn't do much after it even did. GotG2 was a bottom 4 mcu movie for me though.

Didn't like GOTG2, but come on. SS was trash.

Suicide Squard. I actually really liked GotG2, a lot. I don't get the hate, just like I don't get the hate for WW.

This is comic vine who for some reason hate mcu comedy. That is why GOTG vol 2 is here even though most normal people like it including me.

SS was at best an okay movie, so yeah SS is not as good as GOTG vol 2 which was a great ride.

Oscar winning Suicide Squad is a cinematic masterpiece.

You just made me realize I never put Suicide Squad down on my list. So of my 46 CBM's Suicide Squad is #33 and Guardians of The Galaxy II is #26.

Still guardians even tho it fell short

Suicide squad was just a mess it should never have been enchantress as the main villain- they should've went with a story similar to assault on Arkham

Gotg Vol. 2 wasn't bad you know. At least not bad enough to be compared to Suicide Squad.

Both of them represent the worst of their respective franchises, but Suicide Squad is worse.

I liked Rocket's and Yondu's arc the most, however short lived it was.

@theamazingspidey: I actually like GotG2 more than the first one. Yondu was really awesome in it. Kurt Russell! Baby Groot was adorable, the soundtrack rocks and it wasn't as boring as the first one. Ronan was dull and Thanos called him out on how pathetic he was.

I'm glad you liked it, but as a fan of the first film, I disliked the movie. Yondu/Rocket's relationship was cringe, Baby Groot was less of a character and more of a nuisance, and the movie had no plot. 50% of it was people talking about events that happened off-screen. Ego was better than Ronan, but the shockingly bad acting ruined the "reveal."

Guardians of the Galaxy is pretty good. Suicide Squad is one of the worse Comic Book Movies i've ever seen RIP.

Expectations may have been high for GoTG2, and people may have been disappointed, but I disagree with a comparison with Suicide Squad.

They do, general audience loves the movie, I have yet to meet a friend who didn´t have a blast at the theater with this movie.

Suicide Squad and it isn't even close. What an abomination. I am a fan of Ayer but this is easily his worst piece of work.

I didn't fall asleep during SS. Not even kidding. I missed the whole Pac Man thing.

Suicide Squad, by a large margin. It's not even fair. I can understand people not enjoying GOTG2, but it's not the worst. Thor 2 would be a more appropriate choice.

Nothing's worse than Suicide Squad. Might be hard to take but I found Fant4stic and Catwoman at least more coherent films than SS. They're all awfully made films but I could at least tell what was going on in those movies! lol.

Mismatch. I'd like to see GoTG2 vs something like V for Vendetta though (or any other early 00s CBM). V might be a little unfair because of how much the source material carries V and Hugo Weavings performance though...04 Punisher might be a better match up.

GoTg seems worse because I had high expectations for it whereas I knew what was gonna happen with SS

@elpizo: Lazy writing. Aside from the big three (Floyd, Harley, Rick) every other character had piss poor development. Underwhelming plot structure and execution.

Honestly a massive step down from Ayer's other films. Did not expect it coming off End of Watch, which is one of my favourite cop films.

Even Harley had bad character development. She just falls back into Joker's arms.

Also, all the Squad were asses. I can't believe they didn't give a damn after Diablo died. So much for family.

I actually forgot about Diablo. I liked the fact that at least one character felt remorse for his crimes. He was actually one of my favourites.

Suicide Squad

Gotg2 was good. SS was bad. I'll never understand the 15 people on the planet who feel otherwise.

How... how is this even a question? I have the above reaction every time I actively try to think whilst watching Suicide Squad. GOTG 2 was amazing.
