Which is a better superhero team movie? Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) or Fantastic Four (2015)?

I didn't even see FF but wasn't the overwhelming consensus that it sucked?

This is gonna be a slaughter.

Fantastic Four, by a margin. Had more fun watching it. More developed, well conceived characters. Guardians of The Galaxy had a more cohesive plot, but I still prefer Fantastic Four.

Haven't watched neither one, but Fantastic Four received bad reviews for a reason.

I thought GoTG was way overrated and I'm a FF fanboi but GoTG was superior in production and execution, by far.

@buttersdaman000: I am not really sure either. Drax's character development alone is on par with the F4 characters.

I don't even know what Sue's deal was, and she didn't even interact with ben...like at all.

They didn't say one word to each other the entire film, they must have because she shielded him in an invincible field but it must have been off camera.

The character interaction was off.

Ben and Johnny didn't talk much at all either but at the end of the movie he insults him like their comic book versions but it came off as just...harsh, because they barely said anything to each other as well.

Yeah, that whole movie was off. Now, I think GotG was fairly average overall, save it's humor, visuals, and soundtrack but even then it wrecks F4 in every category I can think of. The only good thing I can say about the movie is that for about 20 min or so, before the second act of course, I can see a glimmer of a great movie. That glimmer was quickly pooped on though lol

Now I still haven't to this day seen Fan4stic, but talking with friends and reading from other who have seen it, I think it's pretty disrespectful to lump Guardians into somekind of comparison ....

Really? I honestly don't remember much about him other than the fact that he got his catch phrase from an abusive older brother lol

@buttersdaman000: Yeah I feel like they got his traumatic transformation down, and how pissed he was at reed after, he seemed genuinely scared at what was happening to him.

In the other movie he ran back to the city to see his girlfriend and didn't really seem too scared that he was a rock monster, didn't really seem horrified by the whole thing.

Fantastic Four is a travesty. A train wreck. Guardians of The Galaxy is a well acted, well directed, funny and fun movie.

......And I thought the poll comparing The Dark knight and Batman & Robin was bad.

I have to go with "Fantastic Four" - there may have been problems with the movie, but it felt like a superhero team movie. "Guardians of the Galaxy" literally put me to sleep. Sorry, it just was boring to me, and felt more similar to a more successful space adventure than "Jupiter Ascending" than a superhero team movie.

Jupiter Ascending was gawd awful, please do not compare GoTG to it. GoTG may not have been a "superhero movie" but as a space opera it's up there with the likes of Fifth Element.

I have finally watched Fantastic Four (2015), and my god...

I am very easy to please but I still can't believe the final scenes of Dr. Doom and the Fantastic Four was so... short and unsatisfying. Its as if I can feel that the movie had some pacing issues, and I'm an oblivious person.

I would rather stick my hand in a woodchipper than watch Fant4stic again.
