Which has better writing: Batman: Arkham Knight or Avengers: Endgame?
I’m not sure about writing but I do prefer most characters in Batman Arkham Knight over most characters in Endgame.
Arkham Knight stomps. Much better characters, especially in the case of Bruce, who is at his best in the series, and it actually has the epic feel to it that Endgame failed miserably at trying to evoke.
Arkham Knight by far, the Joker inside Batman's head dialogue was fantastic. Endgame while cool, didn't have much complexity or amazing dynamics in the movie...I'd argue the only amazing performances in the movie was Fat Thor, who depicted PTSD really well and Wanda who had...what? 3 or 4 lines?
Neither are what I consider the paragon of good writing, but Endgame.
not hating, cause i agree but i got curious what do you feel gets close to paragon of good writing and do you got some rec of stories that you think are cool
Endgame easily.
Arkham Knight's "writing" turned a game about Batman into a racing game.
Both were kinda disappointing in my eyes though I'll give the edge to Arkham Knight. Despite the Jason Todd reveal being so predictable, it didn't damage the story in any way. The Joker scenes were also well written and Scarecrow was a great villain
I felt like Endgame was one big clump of fanservice as a send off for the OG MCU fans, I still enjoyed it, but I prefer Arkham Knight even though that Jason Todd reveal was really predictable. I thought it was the perfect conclusion for Batman and The Joker's story for the Arkham series.
They’re about as good as each other
Arkham knight in a curbstomp , the ending of Arkham Knight , both the Scarecrow ending and Knightfall just put MCU to shame
neither knight is the weakest of the series in that apartment and endgame was just bad
