This is a good question, but I dont think there are really that many franchises left. The only one I could think of for them to buy that they may do a good job with is DC, but I dont think they could buy it.

How about Capcom?

Hasbro. Transformers and GI Joe would be in better hands at this point.

What? I had no idea Disney purchased the rights to The Muppets, and I'm like 11 years late too.

The obvious answer is Nintendo. I don't think it will happen, but it would complete their domination of everything related to our childhoods.

One reason it won't happen is Disney is not interested in making games anymore outside of Infinity and mobile stuff. And, I am pretty sure their are a lot of regulations against foreign based corporations owning Japaneses companies.

Having said that, Square-Enix would be a good second choice.

That franchise is part of Lucasfilm, so already owned by Disney!

Ninja Turtles, bring them to Marvel, finally make it cannon that Daredevil dropped the turtles in the ooze and give us the Shredder/Dr. Doom team up that the world desperately needs.

This would literally be the only way TNA would become legit competition for the WWE so I'd actually be for it if for no other reason than WWE sucks without proper competition. Back before the attitude era they actually had to compete with other promotions and WCW forced them to up their game in the 90s and early 2000s but since their real competition disappeared they keep getting worse.

Didn't Pirates of the Caribbean come from a Disney theme park ride? I thought those movies were based off of original Disney property.

I can see them buying Hasbro in the future, but considering how left leaning and condescending Marvel has gotten I don't know what I'd think of that. I don't want to see two of my favorite franchises (MLP and Transformers) go from being neutral on politics to being far left and hateful. Marvel isn't exactly hateful to folks on the right, yet, but they're getting close. Like most popular media, they seem to take far more jabs at the right than they do the left.

Actually I retract my statement, someone besides Disney needs to buy TNA. We don't need two blood-less promotions battling it out.
