Which film offers better entertainment value? Suicide Squad (2016) or Batman and Robin (1997)?

batman and robin is a bad movie type fun.

skwad is a stomach flu type fun.

SS should be used as a torture tactic. That's how bad it was.

Unless you have a crap ton of weed, Batman and Robin has no entertainment value whatsoever. On the other hand, I'm in the minority who actually enjoyed Suicide Squad. Wasn't great, but wasn't horrible.

I'll take some mindless action over bat credit card.

It pretty much comes down to 90's Uma Thurman vs Margot Robbie.

That being said I abstain. It's been like over a decade since I've watched Batman and Robin and I was a kid that liked it if only for the fact that it was a superhero flick and that I had a massive crush on Poison Ivy. It could easily fall into the so bad it's good territory but I don't really have the urge to watch anytime soon.

While I liked Suicide Squad enough I could see the problems with it and only really spend the times outside of the action scenes picking apart the plot threads or turning off my brain so I won't do that.

@captainsalt: especially when compared to CW .I feel bad for DCEU.Still hyped for WW though.Hope it'll be good.

It boggles the mind how bad SS was. I literally stopped watching halfway through the movie.

As much as I'd love to bash Suicide Squad, it was better and a bit more entertaining than Batman and Robin. Or at least it wasn't as cringe or bad. You know what, I think Batman and Robin is the it's so bad, it's good type of movie. But Suicide Squad isn't that at all. If this was Suicide Squad vs Batman Forever, Batman Forever stomps.

suicide squad follows it's name. Whoever watches it contemplates committing suicide. Batman and Robin was just bad. I at least laugh when I see Arnold play Mr. Freeze.

They Both have their own qualities. So it depends on what you are in the mood for, or what your perspectives are.

I don't get the complete "SS is the worst movie ever" hate at all. It has a mediocre plot, the characters all kind of have a chance to shine, the effects are good, the music selection is good. It doesn't tell some Oscar worthy story by any means, but it IS entertaining. If you hate it this much, you probably have to put soooooooo much effort into it. Joker wasn't THAT bad. so he's not heath ledger? heath wasn't Hamill, Hamill wasn't Romero.

B&r was cheesy as hell but some parts were entertaining I gotta say. SS just totally disgust me how awfully bad it was made. Nothing was entertaining about it sorry to say.
