Poll Which do you think will be the better film: Spider-Man: Far From Home or Once Upon a Time in Hollywood? (38 votes)

Spider-Man: Far From Home 26%
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 74%

As big a Spider-Man fan as I am, I have to go with the latter. The comic books are my primary Spider-Man medium, the movies are really just secondary to me.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood would certainly stomp in terms of acting (what a cast!) and writing (can't beat Tarantino).

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I think Spider-Man: Far From Home will be a pretty fun movie, but I seriously doubt it'll be on Tarantino's level of excellence.

@mrmonster: Disney mostly keeps their films simple, they would rarely make a film complex or mature enough to capture certain excellences.

This, 100% this...except for maybe their animated movies. I'd argue that movies like Zootopia and Wall-E have achieved that level of excellence, or at least close to it. But in terms of live action, you are absolutely correct.

@mrmonster: Haven't seen Wall-E in 10 years but Zootopia is definitely my favourite animated film ever!

@finalkingthanos: I've thought about that but having seen Infinity War compared to Godfather on here, I've no scruples about posting this lol

I'm not really into Tarantino, but come on, he's way ahead of an average Hollywood blockbuster, which is what Far From Home is, honestly.

Pretty much any Tarantino movie is better than almost every MCU movie. This is an obvious stomp in favor of Tarantino.

It's a Tarantino film vs your average well-made blockbuster. Of course it's Tarantino.

Is it already out in some countries? It's only releasing in mine in August.

But let's just say it'd have to be massively disappointing for Spider-Man to beat a Tarantino film.

Tarantino really does make great films. Some think he is overrated but to say any MCU films are better than his (better being judged by how films are commonly compared: directing, acting, sound design, cinematography, etc) is asinine.

@gateofbabylon: Spider-Man is one of the biggest icons there is so Far From Home will definitely earn more in the worldwide box-office. Quentin Tarantino isn't nearly as big outside of America, Europe and Australia; not many people in asian countries like China, Japan, Korea etc. know him or his movies.

I definitely don't doubt that, but I can't imagine a Tarantino film being worse than an MCU flick in terms of objective film quality.

The worst Tarantino film I've seen ( Hateful Eight ) is solidly above the best MCU film ( Winter Soldier ).

@gateofbabylon: Oh yeah, Tarantino is far above MCU but he could never hope to gross as much.

I don't like Tarantino and his style and IMO he's awfully overrated but I know whatever he makes will be better than MCU.

Very odd comparison. I feel like I’ll like Tarantino’s 9th film more

@jb681131: A lot but Zootopia is my number 1, followed by Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles and Lion King.
