Pulling ship through ice in BvS,or lifting building and flying with it in JL?
Which DCEU Superman's feat is more impressive(JL SPOILERS)
Pulling ship through ice in BvS,or lifting building and flying with it in JL?
how big was the building
@macleen: 5 store building.like in post soviet country
According to Spacebattles the ship was a NoCGV Svalbard which is 6,375 metric tons. He drags the ship, so it wouldnt have been anything crazy even if you add in the ice breaking underneath it. The building would be more impressive imo. It would probably be a few thousand tons. The building looked pretty small, so nothing too high.
A, by far.
I highly doubt the building Superman lifted was in the tens of thousands of ton range, but even if it was, we have to remember that in that BvS scene, SUperman had to be pulling that ship for quite some time to get it to a nearest post. The horizon is 3 miles long, and the breakage in the ice stretched AT LEAST that far. He was pretty much pulling a 25,000 ton ship for at least like 5 miles, most likely much more.

That's not the same ship at all
They don't look very similar; the first ship doesn't have any railings, it's not as tall, and it only has one main mast. The shop Superman is pulling has two main mast - the second being quite the distance from the first - meaning the ship is much longer than the one above. The ship Superman was pulling much more resembles this ship in size (though not in design).
The ship above weighs about 25,840 tons.

They are way closer alike than the 50 let pobedy.

The Svalbard is 27 feet tall, so it has the height.

The pobedy has one thing in common. It doesn't have a machine gun in the front. It doesn't have railing either. It doesnt have the ellipse like shaped white things in the front. The front also doesn't curve like the ship does. The Pobedy also has a taller front as well. The Svalbard does have a gun in the front. It has those white things and curves. It has way more in common than the pobedy has on the BvS ship. So we cant say it was this ship. The Svalbard is the closest looking ship to the BvS one.
The ship above weighs about 25,840 tons.
The ship in terms of strength. The building in terms of finesse. Holding up a building like that, while flying, and not having it crumble is something else. Like balancing a broomstick in your palm while running a marathon.
Waiting on someone to do the calculations on the building feat..Both feats he did effortlessly which is just crazy powerful

average 10 storey weights 50k t.
Supes soloes Hulk and Thor and the rest of those weak ass Avengers; Black Panther, Ironman, Warmachine, Quicksilver...wait, he's already ded lmaoo, Captain America *I truly hate this guy* Antman, Wanda, VISION, Spiderman...God, how can people even love these weaklings? Heroes are supposed to be powerful, not some feeble/fragile beings.
@superhero24: that building was 2000 tons at least.
Looked like a 7 storey Soviet Era RCC low rise apartment block. An average 10 storey building of medium size weighs around 30,000 tons. So building feat is 20000 tons more or less. Should be higher since be balanced it in flight without letting it crumble.

Which he lifted it not dragged. The building would be more difficult to do.
@speedforceuser_: you expect Captain America and Spider-Man to be as powerful as the likes of Superman?
@superhero24: Also I’m pretty sure the building would weigh more than 2,000 tons. It was like 7 stories.
It's much harder to lift something over your head a go upwards with it, than it is to drag something.
I can push a Car, I could never dream of lifting it up over my head and walking up some stairs (i can't fly)

He lifted a building? That's crazy.
Yes he did its called soviet xrushchovka buildings.
The ship in bvs he pulled weight 6700 tons if remember it correctly. I covered it in my respect thread.
Or in russian "хрущевка". We still have those Around in Russia.
Not sure how much the building weights, ill google it, but it should be well above ship. Aswell as he dragged ship, but in JL he literaly caried away of the ground.
@petey_is_spidey: the building he carried is called xrushovka or in russian "хрущевка" we still have those in Russia. not sure about the weight but looks well above a ship.
@supermanforever: I guess that makes him the second strongest hero in MCU, DCEU and FOX combined.
But again, didn't zod swing a big satellite?
@supermanforever: In Soviet Russia, Superman don't save building. Building save Superman.
@petey_is_spidey: @royal_warrior: @superhero24: @callmeblast: @apex_pretador:
Ive done some searching as i know what building he was carrying lol. Its old and rusty buildings we call in Russia as Krushovka. I did some reasearch and most of them weigt -+ 7500 tons around that much. Not sure how exact this is but seems it would be around that much, one source gave it to be 27000 tons which looks like false as comparing that ship 50 years is much bigger than that building lol yet weights 25000 tons. So building weight around 7500 tons probably. Ill try to d caculation on my own using the building plan and material later when i have time.

lol

he did but i dont think that satelite weighted much. It looked like it was smaller that that Union pacific locomotive Nam Ek thrown. Also they were at around 950km of the earth, gravity is less there so it could be easier to push it away i think
I think the ship is significantly heavier, but the building feat is probably more impressive, because he is lifting it above his head.
both are insane feats but he lifted the building effortlessly
my audience was laughing when it cut back to flash face
@supermanforever: Still an insane feat.
@apex_pretador: it was 5 store building.
@hulkuberstomp: still amazing
@supermanforever: I guess that makes him the second strongest hero in MCU, DCEU and FOX combined.
But again, didn't zod swing a big satellite?
No, he is THE strongest, by far. None of the heroes in any of the cinematic universe have demonstrated a similar feat of pure strength. Not even close.
