Which Comic Book performances are in the same league as Joaquin Phoenix's Joker?

I'd say Heath's Joker, Fassbender's Magneto in First Class and Brolin's Thanos in IW.

It wasn't that good. It was not revolutionary. Ledger is still in a league of his own.

Not on the same level, but the closest are Hugh Jackman on Logan and James McAvoy & Michael Fassbender on Days of Future Past.

I know it's good to respect other people's opinions and all, but I'm going to violate that rule for this one time and say this opinion is utterly laughable.

Sure, Phoenix was good, but other than the laugh he didn't do anything that could even be argued to surpass Ledger.

Plus you've got Jackman, Stewart, McAcvoy, Fassbender, Eckhart, Bernthal, Cox, Tennant, Kingpin (hard to spell lmao), Ian dude that plays Fitz, Hiddleston, and Brie Larson who all are in the conversation of GOAT CBM actor along with Phoenix.

Sure, he's wrong that "it wasn't that good," but with context this is pretty true. He isn't THAT good, good enough to surpass the other contenders.

Back to the subject Phoenix Joker was very good but hes really not that much better or better at all than Ledger, Charlie Cox as Daredevil, Bernthral Punisher, and Homelander from the boys
