Simonson's art looks more aesthetic. FF and X-Factor were some of his most notable works from Marvel IIRC. Whereas John Romita is mostly know for his Spider-Man.

@vishop_: Romita is my favorite Spider-Man artist, still prefer Simonson's style.

Going with Simonson for a slight edge because I don't know too much about Romita's work. Though tbh I don't absolutely love Simonson's art as much as everyone else.

Romita overall, even though Simonson's style is well suited for Thor - arguably the most iconic ever for the character. I generally hold a little more respect for Simonson for his writing over his art, similar to Keith Giffen.

@morpheus_: Nice, it's the opposite for me with John Byrne, his writing is alright but his art is really good.

If we were talking about Romita Jr. I would've picked him over Simonson but Romita Sr. was never as good for me.

Simonson for me.

John Romita Sr. After looking through those pics you posted for him, I was wondering what artists outrank him for me because his classic character designs are so good.

@tdk_1997: Not a fan of JRJR's art but I plan on reading Kick-Ass so it might grow on me.

IMO, Kick-Ass isn't one of his good works. Personal favorite of mine is his entire Spider-Man run. His art's dynamic works best on Spidey.

@tdk_1997: I've read his Amazing Spider-Man run and it was alright, also read the Superman story he worked on with Geoff Johns, I felt like his style didn't fit Supes. His style suits Kick-Ass though.

Yeah, his style doesn't fit Superman or Batman either. His best work after Spidey I've heard is Daredevil but I still haven't checked that out. Another good one of his is the Uncanny X-Men run.
