Which 2022 villain did you like more: Vecna (Stranger Things) or Odin (God of War)

That’s actually a tricky one, I’d say Vecna in the ward before he goes all Krueger was his best moments but he was a solid villain S4 of Stranger Things was great.

That said I would probably lean towards Odin because his mafia boss / wise step dad thing going on was a version he hadn’t seen for this type of setting and it worked so well.

I would have liked to see far more of Odin. Needed to be in another game because he could have been such a potent antagonist for Kratos.

Vecna by far. Scary, great backstory, dangerous, more devious.

Odin was severely underused, not very threatening, not physically imposing, and was outperformed by Thor as the main villain. His boss battle was underwhelming.

Vecna over Odin from GOW Ragnarok. Odin just looked so Underwhelming to me. It sort of bothered my experience playing the Game when he was on screen. Vecna was an Interesting Looking Monster. He looked like something Swamp Thing would fight in a Movie or something. I could dig it.

Other than design, Odin takes this in all categories by a country mile.

People might want to start digging deeper into his design tho, it had a purpose and it freaking delivered.

Vecna has nothing on him in any category. The closest thing you could argue for is maybe the looks.

And even then, I find his design far more appealing and interesting than burnt & veiny piece of bacon, or kid in a white shirt.

I don't like GOW that much, but Odin seems cooler and more interesting than a piece of rotting meat.
