@speedstergod: You'd think Priest would have been more clever when it comes to Bats vs. Slade, especially with how well written issue #5 was when it came to Slade and Bats and they didn't even have to trade blows for it to be compelling. I knew DC was gonna overhype in the minute I saw that the trade was gonna be a hardcover.
I kinda get why Priest made the the conflict centered around who is Damian's dad though considering the fact that Slade's relationship with his family has been the most prevalent plot point throughout Priest's run so far. I actually remember someone on the DC reddit called it the super-villain version of "Days of our Lives"... in a good way though.
