Where Dante stands in DC Comics.

Dante is hard to pin down. His busting level isn’t that high by feats, basically building level. But he’s never tried to destroy large land masses in the story. He would never do that on purpose, so I wouldn’t hold this against him. There are a few things we can pin down.

His speed is Wonder Woman level.

His weapons can kill powerhouse level beings given enough time.

He is almost impossible to kill.

Honestly I would equate him to Lobo in the DC universe. An in character and holding back Superman would be in very big danger in a random encounter with Dante. Against the likes of Aquaman and certain versions of the Flash, I give Dante the majority. And Batman would have no contingency against him.

He would be low tier.

Mid tier at best.

With these choices low tier, but with a lot of hax.

Rebirth Diana speed level at the very best, even Post-Flashpoint Diana would casually outspeed him.

Just if Supes is not using his speed, and which versions of Flash do you mean?

He beat Mundus who is universal so Top Tier

Mid tier is planetary?

I feel he'd be along the levels of JSA characters. Not quite in the high tier for one reason or another but earns his keep.

Low tier

Comparable to Cheetah.

And Urizen who is superior to them and Dante defeated him after awakening sin devil trigger which boost his stats automatically and become comparable or superior to his Father Sparda who can separate worlds after they were fused by Mundus and has defeated Mundus and his armies of demons which said in the beginning of DMC2. Dante is basically like Bayonetta and Kratos. So he's not building level.

and Argosax, and Urizen.

@the_hajduk: Lobos been beaten by Supergirl and Darkseid easily without them going all out. Lobos easily not that strong and has to rely on out pacing and distracting others to get a head up on. Inconsistency wise, lobos badly written to win against characters pay grade because hes a comedy pis machine like joker.

To say that Dante or Mundus is universal, I feel like we're taking things out of its context.

Dante never showed universal level attacks, and his most powerful hax is temporarily slowing time in DMC 3, Which was never really helpful against the top tiers of his own universe. And he himself defeated the original owner of this hax while not at his prime.

He is low tier.

Not only Dante shown Universal attacks but he can trade blows with other powerful demons who're Universal including Urizen (who's more powerful than Mundus and Argosax). Urizen beats him in the first time before Dante absorbed the Rebellion and Sparda. Dante also states that the power of Demon kings like Mundus and Argosax are disappointments next to his, so he's more powerful than other Demon Kings.

Mundus in the lore where he fusedthe Human World and the Demon Worldinto one. After he was defeated by Dante, the Demon World threatenedtocollapse. After consuming the fruit of the Qliphoth, he killed the former king of the Underworld, who separated the original universe in two. He waged war and was equal to Despair Embodied Argosax that separated the rule of the Demon World in two sides. Argosax in his lore while in his weakening of his seal before he was fully revived, was causing the Demon World and the Human Worldto fuse together and reverting the universe to its original state where the two worlds were once one single dimension. He gave a weakened Sparda a hard time before he was defeated by the help of the Vie de Marli clan of sorcerers to seal him. In his Despair Embodied Argosax form, He passively maintained the distortions caused by the approach of the Demon World through his mere presence, which led to time and space being warped, includingthe past and the future, with time paradoxes occurring and connecting different points in time together as a result.

@happylife1996: I think so, Dante has a space cutting weapon (Yamato) and some devil forms to do the trick and Mundus somewhat has reality warping where he did this.

@assemblesquad: During the fight, Mundus throws rocks at Dante and the Last mission is Dante escaping the Island before it collapses. This is not how universal powers work.
