What's your favorite non fighting heroic moment by a superhero?

What's your favorite heroic moment by superhero that they accomplished without using their fist?

Mine would have to be Batman sitting with Ace until she passed away in Justice League Unlimited.

It makes me think that brushing teeth is a badass activity.

Any time Cap gives a dramatic speech about truth, justice, and the American Dream. Some notable examples include What If #44 where he states that what happened in Nazi Germany with the German people could just as easily happen in the U.S. (Very topical, considering the current President), his speech to Spider-Man during the events of Civil War ("No, you move"), and the speech he gave in the Winter Soldier movie ("But I'm willing to bet I'm not.").

I love any Superman moment under the pen of Grant Morrison. In All-Star Superman, when he tells a suicidal girl that she's stronger than she thinks she is. And Morrison's JLA run, where it seems like there's an awesome Superman moment every other issue. One notable favorite is when Superman is trapped in a dream world where he has no powers. "We have no powers, there are millions of them, and there's a child in there who needs us to save the world. Let's go." Bad. Ass.

The time when Wonder Woman talked down the rogue Green Lantern by allowing herself to take a beating and still offering her hand to appeal to his sense of something greater than his own loss.

In TV: when Buffy kills herself to save Dawn. Buffy was never my favourite character on the show, but that was an awesome moment. Well-acted, great writing, beautiful score.

Spider-Man: The Choice

It's a great scene that shows Peter is a hero with OR without the powers and costume and fancy tech.

can't find a video of it but in 199 Hero Great Battle the previous 33 super sentai teams entrusted the future to the Gokaigers and the Goseiger by giving them a peptalk then entrusting their powers to them.
