What’s the deal with shazam

Ok I like to know what is the deal with shazam I got shazam number one a while back and billy still has his original powers but in darkseid war he lost them and the wizard had to give billy new powers so what gives ?

@otaconmgs: the current Shazam story as weird as it seems is suppose to take place after the original new 52 Shazam run so before he joined the JL or DK War. Doesn't make much sense

Billy lost his "God of Gods" powers when Grail used the baby to transfer it into new Darkseid. Why he even has anything left is a plothole TBH.
