What's DCEU Superman durability?
@nwgzsjuwhm96y2: Pretty sure his durability for physicals would be mountain level.
For some reference, Clark's bullrushes are powerful enough to destroy something made of kryptonian metal, something vastly more durable than any metal on this plane, while weakened. Keep in mind that this structure, the World Engine, dwarfs most skyscrapers in size. In his fight with DD, he repeatedly tanks punches that overwhelm his bullrushes while he is blood-lusted. This puts his durability in terms of blunt force far above multi building level alone, nevermind with his other feats involved.
While I think that feat is impressive, it's worth mentioning that Clark simply flies through the world engine, then it falls apart and explodes...
And being able to do that to such a large structure made of metal that laughs off re-entry impacts is extremely impressive, while weakened. Doomsday being able to overpower this is no small feat, and neither is Superman tanking those punches. It should also be mentioned that his body can bust through a mountain, albeit the top of it, literally on accident when he is falling nowhere near bullrush speeds. So while the World Engine feat may not be as impressive as it seems, he has plenty of feats to back up the fact that his bullrushes are insanely strong.
I just said it was impressive...
Also, who were you interested in repping in a CAV?
Well you seemed to suggest it was less impressive because most of the work was done by Clark flying through it. Who are you and SG gonna be representing if I decide to go through with it. I might be able to represent Clark, DD, or Zod.
Bringing Superman or Thor into a thread isn’t something exclusive to MCU boys. I can tag you in multiple threads and show you.
what multi-building level punches are you talking about?
Clark's weakened bullrushes are able to destroy material that no sells re-entry and surf through multiple skyscrapers without a single dent, scratch, or slowing down. In his fight with DD, he attempts to bullrush DD while at full power yet he is overpowered by a single punch. This may seem like an anti-feat, but keep in mind that Superman had to tank the force that overwhelmed his bullrush. Though tbh, I'm not interested in deep debate at this point on this.
@darthvaderrocks: How? No way its city block level let alone mountain level.
@nwgzsjuwhm96y2: Probably because he crashed into a mountain and completely no-sold while also destroying part of it in the process.
@kalkent: wierd u didn’t mention the first user
Well we know his molecular structure can survive nuke forces and he is unscathed from crashing into the earth from orbit head first at exceedingly Mach speeds so that’s already pretty high up there. Then him being weakened and able to one shot the WE and tank punches fans energy shock waves from DD that consumed blocks. There’s also the WE beam that was pulsing through the core of the earth and terraforming it in its entirety...he was weakened and battered when he resisted that. You also have his body being capable of contains MB energy which is a confirmed planetary power and according to Batman’s and Cyborgs calculations, Supes is stronger than a planet. He can also apparently exert himself enough to shift a tectonic plate and considered the force that would be pushing back against his body, that’d also considerable too. I’m not sure how to gage these though.
@rijehu: everything in the first half was fine
@chuggachugga170: ... ... ok
@amonfire1776: you mean the peak human but also wearing a mech suit batman....OK
By word of God his limit is kiloton nuke level, but by what we see on screen he can most likely survive a nuke in the megatons while at full strength.
@baalhaddad: That mech suit was a lot of rubber with some metal components, you're making it sound like an iron man suit...
@amonfire1776: the majority of that suit is metal lmao it still increases the strength of the wearer and batman already is peak human and clark was tanking his hits so he's not completely human and where did i say he was iron man suit level? Is iron man level the only level of a mech suit

Didn't Snyder or someone say it didn't amp his stats
My take is that Superman isn't actually as inconsistent as he appears on-screen. It's just that Snyder and co. view his durability differently than the standard moviegoer.
Snyder's durability chart positing that nukes put him down, cruise missiles KO him, RPGs annoy him, and bullets don't hurt him makes his showings a bit more consistent. Which suggests that gaps between the different thresholds for Kryptonian durability are wide and are certainly meant to be, and since it's consistent with the screen, I'm fine with it.
