You're just minding your own business, enjoying your day, when suddenly your own son from parallel dimension walks right behind and said I'm mutant then he shot a lightning bolt out of his hands to your trash bag or pillow.

his Electricity abilities are strong as the mixture of Electro(616), Livewire(Post Crisis) and Misaka Mikoto.

I'd let the X-Men help him cultivate and explore his powers and give him my full support. Assuming this takes place on Marvel Earth anyway.

Round 2 i'd freak out and then just raise him normally maybe spoil him a little so he doesn't zap me, give him a strong moral background and make him understand that his powers are dangerous and can hurt people then what he does with them is up to him.

Joking. I'd try to get him to control his powers but HIDE them. Standard superhero talk shit, except now nobody can stop him (with his composite abilities he should be pretty unstoppable if he plays his cards right.)

Hope me or anyone they interact with not catch any radiation aftereffects should they use their powers or electromagnetic powers like Firestar.
