What were your Thoughts on Iron Man Pre MCU?

Prior to the MCU Iron Man was a Relatively B or C-List Superhero. Since then His Popularity has skyrocketed and he's now one of the most iconic CB Creations.

To anyone who was a Fan of him before MCU What were your Opinions on him?

I loved the 90s iron man cartoon, i thought he was the coolest

I was a fan due to reading Extremis, surprisingly.

I liked him. Mostly from West Coast Avengers & Civil War. During Dark Reign I thought the New Avengers were way cooler though.

I didn't know about him at all. But then again, I was only 11. At that point in my life, any superheroes I didn't see on cartoons might as well have not existed at all.

Yes, it was called Iron Man: Armored Adventures. It sometimes aired on Nickelodeon, but it mostly aired on Nicktoons. I'm pretty sure it started airing about the same time as the Iron Man movie came out.

Was it any good? I don't think so. I remember that even when I saw it ar age 11, I didn't like it very much. Not sure how my opinion would change if I saw it today.

I liked Iron Man. Around the time the movie came out he was being written like a villain post-Civil War, but I always thought he was a cool character with a cool powerset and an underrated animated series.

@doctordamn: Maybe if I watched it today I'd appreciate it more, but I just remember that 11 year old me didn't really care for it that much.

I knew about him and some of his villains from the Iron Man cartoon that use to come on Fox Saturday morning cartoons. I also did have a few comics of him as well.

The only reason I watched IM movie, was cause I liked RDJ in Sherlock Holmes movie.

Knew about him from the "Doom Quest" arc that I read about him when I was like 8 back in Kindergarten. Came with a Marvel Legends action figure.

@mega6382: Good thing with Marvel is that it has some of them most well established and good modern actors, RDJ is one of them, and he's been killing it for 10 years now, both as a professional and as a trademark person.

I am not fan of him but had known him most notably from Disassembled to CW and then Mighty Avengers to Secret Invasion and i much more fan of Bruce and Peter back before then and now many things have change but Bruce remained on the spot where i like but not my first favorite

@anthp2000: Well certainly u should knw that Tony was quite opposite of what he was before MCU , in short his character development was least among Avengers

I hated his 90' cartoon, I was always waiting for Spiderman but his and Silver Surfer cartoons were first and they were so boring I was falling asleep before watching Spiderman which was pissing me off lmao
