They really can't market this movie with their lead Actor possibly going to Jail.
What should WB do about Ezra Millers' Flash Movie?
They can't cancel it.
The movie already costs 200 million dollars and is essential for them making a reboot of the dceu timeline/continuity.
It's also has the best audience reaction among all the current finished DC movies according to test screenings.
They should simply put it on their streaming service behind a paywall similar to what Disney did for their Pixar movies at the beginning of the pandemic
I don’t think WB will just cancel a film they spent like over 200 million. It’s not like cancelling Batgirl or Supergirl. Also, I’m pretty sure there were reports that they are gonna recast Ezra Miller after the Flash. No way in hell that moron is gonna continue. Dude should be locked up.
They made freaking reshoots for two of their movies which were major failures and even after them they sucked major ass. So, I don't see why they just don't do some reshoots and make Keaton's Batman the main hero or just add another Flash or sth.
They've already spent millions on this, so if they scrap it that will be a huge blow for the comapny. However, it seems like the most logical thing to do as this guy is literally trying to destroy his career and life more and more every day.
At this point I feel like he's trying to get fired
Y’know what, I bet you he’s already been fired by Warners. I think they just don’t want to announce it prior to the movie releasing. 99.9% sure his time as the Flash is over after this movie
they can't keep quiet for a year though, lol. Eventually WB HAS to say something.
Complicated to explain why WB independently of the reigning staff, keeps being amateur to a degree not seen in other major Hollywood movie studios, who in his right mind would not address Erza's situation, in a business of appeal to masses and in a era of cancel culture?
If the intention is really try to create a brand with DC, there is no other option aside from reshoot the movie without Erza.
But is it really that the intention? In my perception there is that (cheap motivational) speech but for now, nothing else really...
Realistically the best they could do is remarket the film and then never work with Ezra again (assuming Barry is removed from the timeline) because cancelling it will be a lot of money down the drain. And honestly with all this controversy it might actual get people interested in seeing the movie.
