anyone ?
what makes a comic good good art or good writing ?
It needs both for people to see it as something noteworthy but I prefer it to have good writing first.

@supermanthor: I like both equally.

ooo good for you
Writing.
If it is good I can keep reading something no matter how bad its art becomes, like HxH during Chimera Ants arc, where at a certain point Togashi stopped drawing backgrounds, and characters were drawn with like 3 lines each.
If the art is good I'll skim thru, taking in the best drawing but that's it.
Writing
Writing. A comic can be good with bad art (e.g. I hate Romita Jr.'s art), but not with bad writing. That said, I really prefer to have both. They enhance each other.
It has to be a marriage of the two if you're looking for a really good comic; neither form nor content should be sacrificed for the other.
Both, but that did not stop The Dark Knight Return from being a classic and I love Squirrel Girl despite the art sometime making the character look like they want to steal my soul. So good writting if I have to choose.
That being said I tend to pick books due to the art rather than hearing good reviews.
It should be both.
Don't give comic book artists and writers any ideas on what people want more. Because if they know what people want more they'll just focus more on this part of the comic book and less on that part of the comic book.
People should be asking more of both equally (and get your money's worth).
Writing is more important, but for something to be truly good both are needed
This, unless it's a story written about Batman's dick uncensored. Then and only then, art is more important.
True
Writing honestly. I can stand bad art to a degree if the story compensates
But I can't stand good to great art over a lousy story to any degree
edit: for spelling

agreed

Both, because at least I can go back to the story at some point and actually care about what goes on in it.
I prefer good art.
then you should read avx
