Title says it all.
What is the single most iconic Comic Book movie scene of all time?
@lan_fan: I think the snap is more iconic because of the comic rather than the movie
@johnsmjs36: I'm actually thinking the opposite.
There’s so so many classic scenes like “I’m batman” or “why so serious?”, Spider-Man upside down kiss, Superman flying by the camera in space as the film ends and so on but...
I think atm and for a long time to go the snap from IW and Assemble from EG will likely be the most popular and iconic.
@super_ninja: Spider-Man stopping train is a good one.
The Best: Joker interrogation
Most iconic comes down to
Both “I am Ironman” moments
Bring me Thanos
Or the Snap
“I’m Batman” from 1989 Batman.
“You’ve got me? Who’s got you?!” from Superman 1978
Upside down kiss from Spider-Man 2002
“Puny god” from Avengers 2012
“Kneel before Zod” from Superman 2 1980
Blood rave opening from Blade 1998
Tony Stark weapon test from Iron Man 2008
“Meow” from Batman Returns 1992
Superman catching Lois
Yes, https://youtu.be/VKtwEWMz5lg
Superman: "Easy Miss, I got you"
Lois: "you got me? who's got you?"
Probably the arrival of Capt Marvel. I literaly felt the patriachy in me quiver in fear at her splendor. When that chip was removed and no man can keep her down any more I felt that women's rights were propelled 40-100 years into the future. She has surpassed Reeves Superman as the most powerful and none shall come close. I would give a second but it would be so distant there is just no need.
Most iconic scene? Oof. That's a lot to sort through, and you have to consider the scene in it's totality and not just a quote (otherwise the list would be much longer). And I don't think iconic and popular are quite the same thing. Some that come to mind:
- Spider-Man 2 - Peter stopping the train
- Infinity War - The Snap
- Superman - Clark turns back time
- Endgame - Tony's Snap/Death
- Avengers - Cap/Tony argument ("genius billionaire playboy philanthropist")
- Spider-Man - The upside down kiss
- The Dark Knight - The Pencil trick; "Do you wanna know how I got these scars"
- BvS - The Warehouse scene; Martha
I would say probably:
“Kneel before Zod”
Great choice, definitely a contender.
"The Snap" is way too young to be considered iconic yet. It may be the most popular right now but popularity can fade.
We'll see in 20 years.
Avengers Assemble
nuff said
That scene took a decade to create and it was executed in the most perfect fashion
The entire movie in general, was garbage, but the practical effects on Spawn's suit remain unbeaten till the date, not talking about the CGI on his cape or chains, but about the rest of his entire suit, the recent Venom movie tried to replicate it, but CGI is CGI, it doesn't give the same feeling.
Definitely not the snap. Lol.
Most iconic scene still has to be something from Batman(89):
"What are you?" "I'm Batman."
Or
"Where does he get those wonderful toys?"
Or
"You wanna get nuts?! Come on... let's get nuts!"
Or
"Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?"
There's so many to choose from in that film. Pure gold, all of it.
