There have been many deaths in comics of heroes and Villains alike not to mention numerous civilians but which was the best Was it the Death of the Red Skull in Captain America #300? Maybe Gwen Stacy and the Green Goblin in Amazing Spider-man #121-122 or possibly the Death of Superman at the hand of Doomsday there have been many but which out all the deaths we've seen is the Best of the Best?
What is the Greatest Death Scene in all of Comics?
When Galactus is killed by Doctor Strange! he made galactus suffer the pain of everyone he had ever killed! yikes
" I'd have to say my favorite death scene in comics is the Red Skull's Death in Captain America #300 "This.
"The one i would say mainly because i was 'there for it' at the time:

I don't know whether I love it or Hate it. I liked nightcrawlers death (or at least the idea behind it), but it felt kinda forced, like he had to die for there to be meaning in the story.
My favourite is probably Jason Todds death, but I haven't read the red skulls death.

That would be awesome my friend :)
So what if he came back shortly? The man placed himself before the city and it's citizens. That's the way a hero should die. Superman's death was the most tragic and heroic.
i like cap's. he died like many important figures in u.s. history (i.e. Pres. Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr., JFK, Malcom X). i believe it was the most befitting way he should have died.
and supe's death is 2

" @Nighthunter said:yup sean" As much as Mckeever's run sucked I did thing that he gave Red Devil the perfect death "I don't know who Red Devil is but you better be talking about Sean McKeever because Ted McKeever is bloody amazing! "

Really? I must disagree with you here. I felt his death was stupid meaningless, cliché, could have been avoided and felt way too much Captain American-ish.
But hey, to each his own. :D
"another example of superman being a dick'

" @Chaos Prime: It had us all in shock after seeing cap die like that I thought he went out like a punk but looking back on it his death was pretty epic "Just love the way it was Drawn/inked.Grim & dark just like the moment :-)
I'm surprised nobody has said Supergirl's death in the first Crisis. Nearly had me in tears just reading it.
" @Telcalipoca: I'm not sure I'm understanding you correctly... How is Superman a dick for stopping Doomsday? "a dick for stopping him once he got to HIS home turf and only then.
