What if MCU Thanos is defeated like this?

Marvel Movies has the special power to make almost all thier big time villains suck power wise, they suck to the point that they need to use armies of easily disposable mooks to present a ''threat''.

Anyone expecting the power display shown on the ''Infinite Gaunlet'' storyline is a fool.

What would happen to this board if Thanos is defeated like this?

Infinity War will probably end with Hulk coming out of nowhere and proceeding to smash Thanos w/ Infinity Gauntlet just because he can.

I would get my money back and never see another MCU property ever again. I would be severely dissapointed if it happens. That show is awful and how it replaced EMH is a travesty in itself.

How is Trunks, Superman and Aang one an example? Trunks domninated Frieza in SS1 it's not that hard to assume he would beat his father easily and Aang was already dominationing Ozai. idk about Superman maybe he was cutting loose

I would say it fit the remainder of the MCU... and quite likely to considering they have a terrible tendency to make the movies revolve around the interpersonal relationships between the Avengers and less about dealing about the threat at hand. Which was fine in the first movie when they all met, AoU was a little better though still falling short, we will have to wait and see if Infinity War will be any different since the Russo's have done little to change any of this.

In fact Superman was going to kill Darkseid in that episode, he was stopped by Batman from doing it.

Does the op do anything besides hate on the MCU?

Those ''In Russos I trust'' posts are even more funny now, the Russos are pretty much unproven handling uber level characters, just because they direct decent H2H action (with a load of annoying cuts) with lowly street level characterts doesnt mean they can handle high tier action like Singer or Snyder.

That's a common theme in the Avengers movies. Hulk easily disposes of villains because he can. And yet people still think there's more powerful Avengers in the movies!?!

This. I'm worried about future marvel movies.

Why do people say Hulk will come out of nowhere to defeat Thanos like if he´s the one who always defeats the villain, he only did that to Loki, Ultron wasn´t defeated by Hulk.

@the_bladewolf: yeah man, they said it in an interview and I was just so confused. I hope their creative team has read infinity gauntlet, infinity watch and infinity quest or this is all going to be a ridiculous adaptation of what the infinity gems won't do. If not, Thanos will just be an arrogant hulking bad guy with no brain who gets beaten by silly plotholes and devices.

If Thanos doesn't beat himself or Warlock and strange don't do something then I'll be incredibly triggered

I really hope after ALL these years and ALL this build up, Thanos is handled with more respect than this.

I'm going be cautiously optimistic and say that Thanos will be a great villian, but with the MCU's track record of villians I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous.

If he's no better than Ronan or Malekith, the sh!t is gonna hit the fan here on the 'Vine *smh*

Because Hulk embarrassed the main villains of both Avengers movies. Ultron may not have been defeated by Hulk, but he was figuratively tea-bagged by him....maybe literally as well lol

I wouldn't be surprised, the villains in the past MCU movies have been disappointing
