How would their movies turn out? What would be different in both properties? What else would be different?
What if Disney owned DC and WB owned Marvel?
Marvel isn't successful solely because of what movie studio they are owned by. Marvel had to have a trial by fire as they didn't have the rights to their marquee characters and sort of had to learn what works and get by with what they had. They basically learned to walk, became more adept, then took off running.
Meanwhile DC came out of the gates running and tripped over their own feet.

well marvel had their own idea first before disney purchased them its not like we're switching directors here
Well way back DC was more popular so it would probably be more successful Marvel worked up their characters DC started high and fell flat Marvel started low went high
Batman probably would be lame and Superman would probably be huge Disney and Superman is a match made in heaven
@rbt: More popular and interesting? Maybe Batman and Superman but WW<Spiderman and after that almost even...

Well Sony owns spiderman not Disney
Disney does such a good job in pretty much everything. They brought Starwars back from after the whole movie 1, 2, and 3 mess. They would make the Justice league pretty awesome.
Like the other guy said, WB has visibly struggled to convert even some of the most popular and iconic characters ever in comic history and some of the most critically acclaimed storylines, themes and character backgrounds into successful and universally loved movies both critically and commercially baring WW and that too with a stellar and capable star cast while Marvel Studios made a successful franchise both critically and commercially with a bunch of B grade and forgotten characters. That shows the dedication and effort they've put throughout the years. Success doesn't come by name alone.
While I don't approve of or like most MCU movies baring a select few because I don't think they have any impact or re watch value, credit is due when credit is due. Whatever way they might have done it, they are successful. MCU in the hands of WB would be like the monsters franchise of Universal. I don't approve of Disney having anything to do with DC or DCEU though. I just don't like the type of movies Disney makes. I like content for mature people.
@godzilla44: Sony just owns the movie rights...
The DCEU would probably be better but they wouldn't necessarily be as good as the MCU even though they could be better. Marvel Studios started the MCU not Disney.I doubt the MCU would be nearly as good as it is if if where just Disney who did everything. Marvel Studios may have to get approval from Disney to do stuff but its still them that makes the movies. If Warner Brothers bought the MCU at the time that Disney did instead of Disney they would probably have done things similarly since the MCU was a success. There would be no need for them to change things.

we're talking about the movie versions, and the topic is about MCU and DCEU
@godzilla44: Good point
