The top news articles are 6 days, 4 weeks, 6 weeks old. Do they not update content anymore? Is there a new URL? What's happened to ComicVine???
What has happened to ComicVine (the site)?
Tony (the guy running the site) left and now there is only one guy working on Comicvine, Matt. No idea what happened, but I'm willing to blame the parent site, Gamespot, since they are a pretty unethical company in general.
At this point I just use this site for the forum since there isn't really much else going on.

We have a badass wiki also.
From what I understand is the main people who operated the site left. The front page has been largely sparse in content for a while usually mirroring Gamespot articles.
A sad, slow death. But hey as long as I have the Battles forums and the Superman forums then I'm happy here.
I see, thanks all for the info. I really don't want to go back to CBR...but looks like I may have to eventually. =\
Watch the last podcast they posted last April.
Will I cry? I hate goodbyes.

Yeah, you know it's just now I realized I haven't seen any Tony posts...
We need to make Comic Vine great again.
I'm down! Let's do it! ...may be difficult tho *cry*
I have noticed a lot less users around. Forums are no where near as busy.
This. I remember few years back General Forums, Battle Forums, and Off Topic was constantly having 2-3 new posts every few minutes. Now I see threads hours old on the first page daily 0_0.
Sad days.
@sirfizzwhizz: I mean there's still a lot of users around as when I accidentally click on a thread I have little to no interest in there's always a lot of names I don't recognize. So there are still quite a few users but obviously I imagine that was the case years ago so it is majorly inactive in comparison of a few years ago.
All the good stuff started disappearing after Gamespot bought it out.

@guru_crack: The difference in activity in the battle forums from before and now doesn't seem big to me. At most you have a thread that is an hour old but sometimes you don't even have threads that old. And you still have tourneys and cavs all the time. So I don't see it being affect that much. I'm also noticing more older users returning.

@emperorthanos: Fair enough. I've just noticed how dead General Discussion is. Really is surprising.
Real shame about the preview articles being nonexistent, I miss those. If they're around still, I sure as Hell can't find'em
