How much does the Imperium actually know about Old Earth. I saw Jonny_Anonymous say they know plenty, but I disagree.
I read Mark of Calth. And it looks like even people during the Great Crusade did not know about Old Earth. Perpetual Oll Persson tells Katt and the other people with him about his time on Old Earth, and they were none the wiser about human history before that. And they he was tells them, it was as if no else knew.
