What do you think about Steppenwolf's desing in the Snyder cut?

That's his BvS model but spikey and has more shades.

He looks like black Diablo from Diablo 3, and look at his face. It looks cool but let's hope he's not underwhelming anymore in terms of power.

Covering him in spikes is a cheap way to make him look more threatening, but it does work.

His face looks more threatening too, even putting the armor aside. He actually looks like an intimidating demonic creature, so I'm happy with it.

Looking like he's actually gonna put up a fight this time.

I love it.

I am in the minority that actually likes the theatrical design (don't like the movie itself though), but I do think this one is an improvement and it looks like he will be a legitimate character and not a generic videogame boss.

I think the theatrical design was a good compromise between the original Kirby "weird green man in armor" design and the New 52 design which was really just a normal man in a slightly more menacing armor.

With this design it seems like they are fully leaning on making the New Gods of Apokolips (at least the royal family) all have the Heggra and Darkseid monstrous look, which I support.

I also really like how they are hinting at Steppenwolf being basically a really tired and disgraced god who will do anything he can to get back into some sort of glory. The grey color pallete fits really well with the idea of him being old and tired.

Terrible , his design in Josstice League was okay tbh , I wouldn't have changed that but I guess Zack wanted to maintain countinuity with BvS.

The n52 look would not have worked considering he is meant to be the main villain in this one. Having a normal looking man in armor would be too much like Ares, so it makes sense that they went with a more monstrous, alien design. I hope not all the new gods look like that though.

Doesn't he get killed by Aquaman in this version? If that's true than he must be not very important, i thought Darkseid would be the final villain of this version.

I feel like JL movie version was more accurate to comics but considering how BVS doomsday turned out initially looking like a Alien Oger Troll hybrid mutation they probably wanted the next villain to look menacing and otherworldly as well. So I could see it. Tho I think a more slithery and less deep voice would be a better fit for someone with this Apperance.

Still poor CGI monster. And not only look needs fixing but also Snyder would need to make him at least a bit interesting character.

Snyder's Parademons makes Whedon's Steppenwolf look like its subordinate, they look stronger.
