We can argue all night about how big the meteor was, however from a narrative stand-point and author intent to say the meteor was Japanese country level busting is asinine because Fujitora wouldn't do that and he proves so when he expresses how he hopes no civilians were hurt. If the bird cage wasn't there, the destruction would have been exponentially worse and therefore Fujitora is a lying, suicidal, genocidal, bloodthirsty psychopath which contradicts everything.

I'm done here, this is the first time debating One Piece has been legitimately annoying, if you want to discuss anything to do with the series of course you can do that since it's great, but do that with someone else and don't tag me in anything again.

1 Oda was just trying to show off the birdcage's power and didn't think it through that much.

2 As a marine admiral I am pretty sure Fuji was more durable than the birdcage.

3. Issho was intending a direct hit on Sabo with little collateral damage.

4. Fujitora has jokingly been portrayed as exceptionally meteorite-happy and shown to be endangering the lives of people with his meteor before. Oda probably thought that because the birdcage would protect against it, it would come off as a light-hearted joke.

5. I'm just guessing here but I'm pretty sure Fuji could use his gravitational powers to compress the explosion or force it underground or something which he couldn't do with several small meteorites.

He could reach multi-continent, but that’s iffy.

I don’t see him reaching planet or moon level. That just doesn’t make sense considering the series. Nobody even comes close to being implied to be near that level.

Moon level, he will have to destroy it to avoid Su Long carrot from murdering Zoro.

Before the war arc the naruto verse was extremely weak in comparison, and didn’t get crazy until beast bombs started to happen and perfect sussanos.

That’s one arc that changed all of that at the end of the series and one piece is barely half way done.

Prime garp destroys 8 mountains with his punches as a warmup for a fight, which no one could do in the naruto verse until adult naruto, adult sasuke, and maybe a very serious Sakura and none of them could one shot it with a punch.

I also agree with you that Naruto got amped after the War Arc, before the War Arc they were pretty weak actually, when compared to One Piece since Mountain busting at that point is already considered Toptier that can only be done by SM Naruto/Nagato level characters.

It was after the War Arc, when the God Tiers appeared that suddenly cause all the Country, Continental feats to appear when Naruto suddenly pulled faaar away from One Piece.

I think that EOS Luffy would be close to Multi Continent Level - near EOS Naruto, simply because we have yet to see the GodTiers in action yet (Pirate King, Rocks .D Xebec, Prime Whitebeard tier characters).

Country level seems to me to be fair, he is currently large island level, I don't think he is continental, I see many people using his feat one shot the guy who divided a continent in half but dividing a continent in half and destroying one are things very different from each other, the same as fragmenting a mountain is not considered a mountain level

Based on his progression and if Oda actually sticks to the most updated OP end prediction: continental in AP, large island to small country level in DC. To be specific because it’s fun- AP equivalent to no bigger than Australia and DC no bigger than Ireland.

@senate: Really hard to say at this point but if I had to guess, I think it’ll probably be the latter. I can easily picture an Awakened Blackbeard using a more powerful Gura Gura quake and Luffy cancels it out with a Ryou punch or something.

Oda likes to do both-Luffy performing direct environmental damage or fighting someone with established power, in order to place him so any guess along those lines is valid in my eyes.

He could cap at Large Country maybe Multi Continental.
