What characters are good matchups for DCEU Steppenwolf and MCU Hulk?

These 2 guys get no respect in the forums. They seem to get beat by everyone from Iron Man to Wonder Woman.

So, who CAN they beat?

One of them already beat Diana, how does he get beat by her?

@kryptonianking88: They are both criminally underrated but Steppenwolf has it bad. The guy is obviously near or at Superman level in strength based on the fact that he overpowered Aquaman and Wonder Woman together, and yet people say he can lose to Kurse or that he gets fodderised by Thanos LOL

Hulk isn't losing to Iron Man, he would stomp. Hulkbuster gets stomped too. And Steppenwolf already beat Diana but everyone pretends he didn't because they cry that she was nerfed instead of just accepting that he's a god and he's as fast as her

Never heard someone say he beats Doomsday, I think he can last like half a minute unlike the rest of the forum, considering Diana was holding her own.

Steppenwolf is underrated but hes below thanos imo since he scales to CM(missile), Thor(ring), and Hulk(avengers hq). Though besides Thor and CM, he definitely beats the non hax avengers, iron man, worthy cap, etc.

Without including outliers like the star feat or tectonic plate or "planet moving" carol, I'd say MCU/Dceu high tiers are physically close with Doomsday being top dog

Diana is the actual weakling. Post one notable strength feat. All she has is ambiguous scaling based on us simply assuming she's stronger than Aquaman like she would be in the comics.

She isn't one shotting anybody with her energy blasts. Hulk wombo combos her into submission then throws her across the state. And no she can't and won't be flying.

No she won't and no it isn't. What's confirmed is that it's a prequel and I don't recall her flying in BvS or JL

@kluhh: She has actual scaling feats via DD that put her pretty much equal with BvS SM. Likewise in JL, SM only fully overpowered her after he used two hands although he was able to pull her to him. There are many characters who have scaling feats that prove their strength but not actual lifting feats. It happens all the time.

She is not as strong as Superman and nothing in the movie suggests it. Doomsday was a mindless animal prone to jobbing at points, that is all. In JL he only needed one hand to ragdoll her, what are you talking about? Lol he used two arms to grab each of her arms that is all.

@kluhh: Her stopping DD’s fist with a sword (no sold it actually).

Her pushing him back with her bullrush (DD no sold SM’s under the same circumstances).

Restraining DD (high diff).

Her shield attack against him did more damage than SM’s followup attack.

It was heavily implied with these showings that she’s at least on his level. And in one instance she was stronger.

He was able to pull her towards him and was “struggling“ (his arm was shaking) to fully overpower her until he used both hands.

@hermes1220: I know Wonder Woman is Kryptonian fodder and instances of jobbing doesn't change that. Supes 1 shotted her with a headbutt.

@kryptonianking88: No that motherbox boost is made up. Statueforce is a joke term he was always Hypersonic since MoS. He travelled across the world from the World Engine to Metropolis in under a minute to save Luis.

Wonder Woman is just mediocre and mediocre is weak next to a true god.

@kryptonianking88: Yeah definitely just to highlight him fighting someone as fast as him. Zack Snyder stated that Superman's fight with Zod took place nearly entirely in superspeed but he just didn't portray it.

He said this in regards to someone asking about BvS opening scene and how the fight seemed faster in Bruce's perspective than when it was shown in MoS.

Would like to have seen more of a battle between Ares and Steppenwolf. Thor is a good match for Hulk though it seems...

I feel like Steppenwolf is underrated, Hulk not so much (I don't think he can beat Iron Man).

Steppenwolf is hard to place but I’m really not seeing him as any better than Hulk of Iron Man. He’d get decimated by high tiers like Thor, Strange, or Carol.

Hulk in the DCEU is probably unadapted Kryptonians level such as Faora or Nam-Ek. Not on Clark’s level and inferior to Diana due to her speed and her gear

DCEU Zod, DCEU WW, Nano IM and Kurse.

Both are massively underrated neither can take Supes but either could take Wonder Woman or Iron Man depending on the matchup.

Aunt May so they could win

MCU Hulk and DCEU Steppenwolf

MCU Black Widow would beat them at the same time. That is the level they are at

Pre-Ragnarok Thor, Ultron, Kurse, and Worthy Cap.

Hulk is a joke now so let's leave it at that

Steppenwolf VS Hela or Ares would be cool(And I think he would win)

Hulk is above pre-Ragnarok Thor but still below Nam-Ek or Faora because of speed and skill IMO.Kurse is the best match up that comes to my mind.
